However today I read an old quote from Prince(Surprisingly in ESPN Magazine) that was something along the lines of" The only reason Michael Jackson called his album Bad was cause Pathetic couldn't fit on the sleeve". As for the VH1! award show Prince was in his TAFKA phase singing some of the funkiest jams known to man as the soundtrack to a fashion show with beautiful women. It was a public apperance where Prince did not have to accept whatever egotistic award of the year which MJ seems to demand whenever he is on MTV. So who is the Pussy? Prince is singing some funky pop songs with his band New Power Generation about sex, women, love etc, check out the Diamond & Pearls era. MJ is bitching in songs like "Leave Me Alone" "Billie Jean" "Scream" or profess his love for children in other songs. The music videos that had MJ with women like Naomi Campbell or E1vis daughter has not fooled anyone, MJ is ghey. You see Prince was able to change with the times, while MJ has tried but failed to get over with his children ballad style of song. MJ is an attention whore, Prince is not. If you were raised in an environment where YOU are always the centre of attention and everything revolved around your abundance of talent then when reality kicks in when your older, your going to obviously have some issues coming to terms with not being the centre of everyone's attention, arn't you? Any 'egotistic award' Michael Jackson is given is deserving and expected. MJ changed the entire face of music within the 80's. Sure, Prince is an amazingly talented individual and in many cases he outshines MJ through pure creativity, however that doesn't change the fact that the 'bitching songs' like "Leave Me Alone", "Billie Jean" and "Scream" placed MJ above any other musician within the 1980's. Finally, MJ's sexuality has nothing to do with his musical talent, so why bring it into the conversation? Elton John is gay, and he is a phenominal musician. Whether Michael likes dick or not doesn't change any of the points I stated above. And points to Edwin for mentioning assless pants. Only Prince could do THAT.
