Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Way too much time on the air. I will admit, Austin was entertaining to open up Raw with his announcements, however right when he got to the announcement about JR and the whole match ensued, I felt not only did it drag on way too long, but the whole GM stuff is getting too much time on the air. Maybe it was just like this for the inagural week of Austin as GM, and if that is true than I can certainly live with it, however I hope this isn't an every week occurance. Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 6, 2003 No Way... MORE Austin/Bischoff segments! Show them sharing a Hotel room...(Eric: I want that side, Steve: What? No Side for you, All mine") A Car Rental... Eric: Porsche Steve: chevy Eric: Porsce Steve: What I said Chevy, Not Chase. Ordering Dinner... Eric: Italian Austin: Chinese! Eric: What about Mexican? Austin: CHINESE!
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted May 6, 2003 I loved all the GM segments. When he fired Morley and stunned coach, those were great. The more STSA the better. Get rid of Bishoff and let Austin have it.
Guest Mole Report post Posted May 6, 2003 SCSA shouldn't have too much air time, he isn't wrestling anymore.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 6, 2003 U gotta keep Bisch...because then it becomes redneck running wild... Eric/Steve are the odd couple...
Guest Aecas Report post Posted May 6, 2003 He doesn't need as much air time as he is getting.
Guest Showstoppa Icon Report post Posted May 6, 2003 SCSA shouldn't have too much air time, he isn't wrestling anymore. hes the most entertainaing aspect of RAW even with him NOT wrestling
Guest The Grand Pubah of 1620 Report post Posted May 6, 2003 SCSA shouldn't have too much air time, he isn't wrestling anymore. When did that start to matter. As long as he is entertaining he should get more air time. The WWE isn't just about wrestling, it's about entertainment.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 6, 2003 They're not going to put on a quality wrestling product, so at least there's hope for this.
Guest Plushy Al Logan Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Eric/Steve are the odd couple... The WWE should try to get the rights to the Odd Couple theme, they should play it every time they come out to address an issue an urgent importance.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Well...we could always get another 57 minute HHH/Nash brawl
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Sure...I believe it's Stock Footage anyways... Cuz I've heard it in so many places... Who cares if Austin isn't wrestling...He getting the same air time Bischoff and Foley and Regal got... If they REALLY wanted to work the 50/50 thing...They would have Bischoff run Hour 1 and Austin runs Hour two... And then they have a RAW BRAND SPLIT! Taken the roster of raw and splitting by hours! Maztinho 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Hey an hour long HHH/Nash brawl? It's money baby. Kliq = money.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 6, 2003 They're not going to put on a quality wrestling product, so at least there's hope for this. Right. The only good worker on the show is Jericho and he's just a Cliq job boy. Booker and RVD ain't going anywhere. Guys like Morely and Storm aren't going to be pushed. The rest totally suck (Steiner, 3MW, Test) or are too green (Nowinski, Maven, La Resistance) to really be big time players or even put on decent matches. I've completely given up on Raw as a wrestling show, however it is a great source of Wrestlecrap (or as Vince calls it, Sports Entertainment).
Guest Aecas Report post Posted May 6, 2003 I would not call Steiner and Test green. I'd call them shite, there is a big difference.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Austin is too big a star for anyone else to get any heat off of sharing the screen with him. Even when he can't wrestle anymore...it is impossible for Austin to put anyone over. He was funny last night...but it's still just one more thing that is bad for the future. That being said...if he's going to be that funny and WWE only wants to push guys with the "talent" of Nash, HHH and Goldberg... then give him the whole 2 hours for all I care. Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted May 6, 2003 I love how WWE gives us another unlikely duo. For the love of god, how many have there been on Raw alone in that last while? Ya got Stone Cold/Bishoff, RVD/Kane, and there was Goldust/Booker. Am I missing any, because I'm sure there are more.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Call me nuts, but I hope these Austin/Bischoff skits continue. Watching Bischoff 'trying' to control Austin by using restraint (since he doesn't want to get his ass kicked) is pretty funny. Austin having a bigger pic of himself on the wall, covering EZ E's with a plant, and the exchange regarding the desk (off memory). Austin: Bring it on in boys. Bischoff: You can't do that, there's no room. Austin: Ya expect me to sit on the floor?
Guest ViciousFish Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Its a sad sad sign when the most entertaining part of a WRESTLING show is a back stage skit between a worn out wrestler and a worn out business man.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2003 Wrestling or not I was entertained as hell by the Austin/Bischoff skits(covering Bischoffs portrait was f'n priceless) so more power to'em. Plus look at it this way...without Austin the Kilq could be getting that TV time.

Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 7, 2003 I know it's a longshot, but if they could bring back anything close to the Austin/Angle/McMahon bits I would be happy, that was some of the best tv they've ever done. Cheesy or not
