As it stands now, it is probably going to be an 8 man Battle Royal. HBK won't be involved with the IC title, Goldust hasn't been on TV for around 3 weeks, Morley is a decent wrestler but is unover, Kane, RVD and Y2J are all above the IC, Storm (see Morley), Test sucks, that leaves Christian who is the only good option for the title out of that bunch (and he's not really over yet either). They should have made it a 15 or 20 man and put guys like Hurricane (who could really benefit from the title) and the Mack in it. Edited May 7, 2003 by Human Fly

Are they just going to throw him out there on the PPV & expect a huge reaction? Does the average WWE fan even know who he is? They'd be better served hyping him up w/ videos, like they did w/ Rey, rather than throw him out there right away at a PPV.

Credit: PWTorch.com Dragon versus Mysterio? That would own so damn much it would cause my head to explode.......or not. But Judgement Day seems to be getting a bit better. Remember ordering J-Day is like telling the WWE you want Kevin Nash in the main event. In other words, no-one can order even if they like Ultimo Dragon...or whoever. And if they add a Benoit-Eddie-Dragon-Mysterio match, we MUST not order just because Nash is in the main event. Riiiiight. Ultimo will be at the ppv. They'll show him in the background of a skit that has Stephanie and Mr America. Steph- I still don't get it Hul... America- I am NOT Hogan...(under breath)shhh, I think that evil Japanese guy is watching us. And we all know Japanese people are evil. Remember Pearl Harbor. Steph- I don't think he was involved in Pearl Har... America- He's Japanese, and that's good enough for me...brotha! Dragon walks over and hands them both sushi, which Steph guzzles down in world record time as America watches on posing.
Guest The Decadent Slacker Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 Ultimo/Mysterio would be awesome. however, 1) they would have to use the new & improved "WWE Style" thus taking away nearly every aspect of cool from their previous encounters & 2) LOOK WHO'S BOOKING IT! the creative team won't have anything for him to do, so he'll be beating Funaki & random jobbers on Velocity. granted, the matches could rule (Ultimo/Funaki & the possibility of Ultimo/American Dragon come to mind), but i'm skeptical as to how this turns out. That said, if Ultimo is booked against someone halfway decent next month, I'M THERE
