I always thought that alternating Survivor and TAR would be a good idea, but then, that's why I'm not a TV exec... Based off the bios, I think Debra and Steve (token old married couple) will go first. My final three are Millie/Chuck (the virgins), Reichen/Chip (token gay couple) and Dave/Jeff (best friends) Judging from the team profiles, I like Jon and Al. They're real life, honest to gosh clowns. They're my pick to be this edition's ChaChaChas/KennyG. Thank goodness they're not mimes. Reichen and Chip will probably be the team everyone roots against. They look to be pretty strong.

I think it makes sense to alternate it with Survivor. It was getting killed by the Bachelor and hopefully gets a boost by being in front of CSI and by CBS dedicating 8pm Thursdays to "must-see-reality-TV". I'm thinking that Millie and Chuck have no problem with their virginal status, so it's fair game...

My favorite part of the show were the NFL wives getting screwed over twice. the nerd and his dad look to be my favorite team right now. The virgins have been together for 12 yrs. They made the stupid decision to use the Fast Forward when they were in no danger of elimination, and they still only got up to fourth. Favorite teams for me: Steve/Josh, Jon/Al, Steve/Dave. One observation: People are way too nice so far. The only mean thing was Josh screwing over the NFL wives, but he made up for that later. I hope it gets nastier.

Yeah, but that's typical for the beginning of the Race, since they really don't know each other. The NFL wives should bring the drama for a while, though. Ordinarily I'd say the models would be next to go but even they aren't so dumb as to not try for the Fast Forward, so I'm thinking that the air traffic controllers are gone next, although I hope that I'm wrong.
