Guest Mole Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I am not usually good at video games, except for a select few. The only ones I've been good at are NBA Streets and Madden. Other than that, I usually suck balls. What about you fellas?

Guest WukenBloodstar Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I'm good in everything, but Basketball Games, basketball games suck.
Guest mach7 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 Back when Final Fantasy was only on SNES, I used to play RPG's all the time. Always had a blast at them too. When FF moved to PSX, I never played them until FFVIII came out years later. Needless to say, I sucked. Not just because I hadn't played. But because I just couldn't hold an interest in them anymore. Still like that to this day. The only RPG I've been able to really get into is Pokemon Ruby for GBA. Anything else has been a lost cause, though.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I'm horrid at sport sim games like Madden and whatever NBA games are out there. It's like a clusterfrick 9 times out of 10 when I play.

The Dames 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I'm only mediocre in First Person Shooter games with a controller, like Golden Eye and Perfect Dark. Anything Mouse/Keyboard based like that and I rule you. Dames
Guest Razor Roman Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I suck at pretty much all video games. Love to play them, but barely beat any. Here's the list of games I've beaten: NES: SMB1 SMB2 DuckTales And that is really it. The only next-gen games that I'm at all good at are wrestling games, and I'm OK at Kart racing. I suck at most 3D platformers, and don't have enough patience for RPG's. Maybe cell-shading will bring back some good 2-D action. So I can stop sucking a little bit. Also hear that Miyamoto and other Nintendo developers have been told to make games a little bit easier. I am also good at Animal Crossing, but I finally gave in to my urge to cheat, when, after paying off the largest possible house and all, I cheated to get access to some of the NES games hidden in the game. Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted May 8, 2003 You know, I would say I was bad at video games. Till I decide to think about the list of games I've beaten. When you rack up more than 200+ games, you aren't half bad I say. Then again, when half of those 200+ are RPGs, you might have an addicition problem.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I am pretty bad at console FPS at the higher difficulty levels. I'm okay at the PC versions. The other thing I suck at are flight (or sub) sims.
Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 Most fighting games on a newer system (PS2, XBox, GC) I suck at. I'm good at the arcade, but I get my ass handed to me on any of these systems. I can pick up and play any sports game and give someone a good game, even if I don't know anything about the sport ie, basketball and football.
Guest Bricks Report post Posted May 8, 2003 If it's not a sports game, then I suck at it.
Guest Slapnuts00 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 heh, I thought I was alone. First of all, I love sports games and am great at Baseball and Basketball usually. Wrestling I'm good agains the computer but my friends can usually whip my ass. Also with big games that everyone has beated 4 times through like in the first week, like GTA3, Vice City, Metal Gear Solid, FF7, etc. Would take me months to make any progress and to this day, still have not gotten farther than like half way any of them. I think the problem is, is I like to play video games but Im not obssesed with them. I can only play for short periods of time without getting bored where it seems like lots of people can sit and play for 8 hours straight to beat a game. Also, Im just not that good, so once I get stuck, IM STUCK. And I can try and try and try but I can never get past a certain point, which makes playing all the more unfun, and thats pretty much that for that game! Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted May 8, 2003 Fantasy (RPGs) = Godlike Action = Pathetic Adventure (Platfomer) = Good Simulations = Poor Puzzle (Includes Strategy) = Decent Overall = Decent I'm pretty decent overall. Although, I'm not great at simulations (probably sports sims I'm best at in that category), and don't even get me started about Action genre, I'm horrid at that. Never was good at survival horror games. Fantasy (Roleplay) genre I'm Godly at. About the only one I know that I'm great at.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 8, 2003 Damn...I can't believe I'm with mole on something. Yes I also suck at video game. Other than sports games I'm mainly useless when it comes to video games. I couldn't even get past 6 or 7 worlds in any of the Mario Brothers games on Nin and Super Nin systems. I bought Final Fantasy 7 and gave it away two days later. I'm a button masher so I'm totally lost with any game that requires multi button magic tricks/weapon attacks. I can play fighting games where button mashing will work(suck badly at MK). I'm decent at arcade style racing games like Need for Speed, but suck at complex driving games like Gran Turismo. I'm also decent at shooting games that allow you to just shoot people. I also get bored with video games quickly, so I never bothered trying to improve. I'd rather watch tv/movies than waste hundreds of hours on a game.

Guest Addy Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I rule at Crash Bandicoot's, Resident Evil's and beat 'em ups (my personal best). Anything that takes actual thinking or practice, I suck at.
Guest KoR Fungus Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I'm really bad at simulation sports games, and am probably the single worst player in the world at FPS games. Every time I would join a server to play Q3 or UT, I'd always end up on the bottom every game, usually with negative frags. No amount of practice would help. It was quite amazing, really. Guest MrRant Report post Posted May 8, 2003 I can hold my own at any game and am better at sports, wrestling, FPS, RPGs and platformers.
Guest GeneMean Report post Posted May 9, 2003 I suck at BF1942 and just about any other PC fps .. in fact I don't know if I've ever won a saber duel in Jedi Knight against anyone other than my best friend (who I know is jobbing to make it look evenly contested)
Guest bravesfan Report post Posted May 9, 2003 FIGHTING GAMES. The last fighting game that I can recall being remotely good at, was Tekken 3 (1998?) Since then, it's been downhill. If you consider Smash Bros. to be a fighting game, I would say that I would OWN EVERYONE in this forum with Kirby or Captain Falcon. I'm also pretty crappy at FPS, with the lone exception being Goldeneye. And man, have I seriously mastered that one. But in the end, I consider my strengths in gaming genres to be sports. Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted May 9, 2003 I'm good at all games.... as long as I have the cheat codes That's because you're a wuss like that. For me, it's either I'm good, ok, or I just flat out suck. Some games I rent, I barely even play, or barely even make any progress, some games I rent I get far or end up beating. (Dead to Rights) Ditto with games I buy.
