All right I know the worst PPV ever thread has been done before, but since I did not order KOTR 95 I was not really offended by it since the rental cost was only a couple bucks, but what was the worst PPV you actually shelled out the big bucks for? My trifecta.

1. Road Wild 98: Easily the worst in my opinion, the annoying main event and Goldberg battle royal were not as bad to me as the Meng-Barbarian, Steve McMichael-Brian Adams, Public Enemy-Disco/Alex Wright, Stevie Ray-Chavo matches. The worst was that those matches were not announced until the WCW Saturday Night show right before the PPV.

2. Superbrawl V: Even before any smark days Duggan-Buck, Rhodes-Darsow, & Nastys-Heat are just not exciting.

3. World War 3 (1998): Not a great card, and it seemed like everybody just mailed it in.

I paid to see Survivor 99 live, we were robbed of Austin and given Big show. Chyna vs Jericho was the only match with any drama, and Kurt debuted...but it was a boring show.

WOW Unleashed

The biggest part of the show was a ref taking a man-sized bump off of a cage. 'Nuff said.

Living Dangerously 2000 also sucked the big one, but that was partially due to the poor production values of that show.

Backlash 2001. I felt so underhwelmed by the whole thing.

I bought that on tape for like $10 at the video store. The worst PPV?? Probably Backlash last month. It was so fucking boring, and 6 man tags are lame. Especially when they put all the 'main eventers' in one HUGE BORING match

WCW Superbrawl 2000. The only redeeming factor was Tank Abbot/Big Al was so bad it was hilarious. The rest of the card featured Hogan/Luger, Knobbs/Bam Bamm, Sid/Hall/Jarret, Lash/the Artist and a string of other matches so bad they are now repressed memories.

Of them all, either Heroes of Wrestling or any of the first few WWA ppvs.

WWE/F: Honestly, I think Backlash from last month was the biggest rip off of any WWE/F ppv I've ever gotten, and this covers a time span of almost 10 years.

WCW: Uncensored 95, stopped ordering WCW shows after that for awhile

ECW: I didnt think any of them were really downright bad, but Hardcore Heaven 97 was the worst of them all.

TNA: That Russo Army ppv was shitty as hell

King of The Ring 1999...Save for a Interesting Main event...It blew the hardest cock ever.

and

King of the Ring 1995...MABLE? Sweet Jesus...Diesel/Bam Vs Takata/Sid? HBK rest hold draw with Kama? KAMA?

Logic CLEARLY pointed out...HBK over Yoko in the finals...

as for WCW? The last one I ordered was Superbrawl 1998...Decent card...

I was just reminded of the WWA ppv I got. Since it was their first ppv you think they would have tried a little harder. Worst $10 I've ever spent

I went to see IN Your House IX (July '96) live...the card pretty much blew, but I was young enough to enjoy myself regardless. But still, looking back, ouch it blew.

What was so bad about KOTR 99? I don't remember anything about it.....except didn't Billy Gunn win?

Isn't the SCSA/McMahons match the stupid ladder match thing they did?

Actually...It wasn't THAT bad of a show...wrestling wise...

The ending to Over The Edge 99 is one of my biggest mark out moments ever.

The Kane vs. Show match at KOR 99 is even worse than it looks on paper. Kane puts Show in this chokehold for like AGES.

I actually found the most depressing bit of WWE commentary ever on Kazaa from Over the Edge. A 6 second vid of JR saying that Owen had died

Well I had ordered primarily to see The Blue Blazer beat the Godfather for IC Title. What topped it off was the rushed main event with Taker visably crying while brawling with Austin. I thought right there that these guys are A) Professionals and the show must go on or B) Vince is an Ass for not stopping tonight. In hindsight it was a catch 22.

I almost swore off wrestling after that night. I was pretty shaken up. And the following tribute RAW made me cry. :(

On another morbid note, I have that show on tape. Haven't watched it since.

The ending to the main event. UT vs. Austin.

Hands down Wrestlepalooza 98. Closely followed by Survivor Series 99 and Armageddon 99 (save for the Chyna/Jericho stuff).

I went to KOTR 95, but it didn't seem all that bad live. Keep in mind that I was an 11 year old mark though.

It's a Shame because No matter what...Vince would've been slammed by the media either way...

Sadly yes. The same people who bitched he kept the show going (Owen's family excluded) would have been the same people who bitched because Vince screwed millions of people out of advertised matches.

Starrcade 94: Even at the tender young age of 14, I could tell what a really shitty show was.

KOTR 99: AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL! A 3+ minute choke in Big Show/Kane doesn't make APO a happy camper. Factor in X-Pac being injured beforehand and being booked all the way to finals and it was one insulting show.

Road Wild 97: What an un-inspired piece of dog shit. Hogan/Luger was garbage due to politics and the Outsiders wormed their way out of jobbing the belts AGAIN.

The very first InVasion PPV (no, not the actual InVasion, but when the whole WWE vs Newly Aquired Talent one: or maybe it was InVasion).

Why have an angle of WWE vs it's now defunct rivals when they don't promote the top stars or get the drawing talent signed.

...it was so weak.
