I know it was on life support, but there is no reason to drag their kind of over feud and terrible matches into this. Fuck them both. I hope they both fall off the cell.

Lead to some brawling by HHH and Nash...eventually Bisch made the first match. Tonight Austin, seeing what happened in the first match, named Nash the number 1 contender for the next match.

Sure there are plenty of reasons not to push Nash: he sucks in the ring, is not over in the least, hasn't cut a decent promo in years, hasn't even done a single damn thing to be viewed as a legitimate challenger, was the lowest drawing WWF champ ever, is injury-prone, hardly mobile, has a lousy work ethic and zero passion for the business, took shots at Vince while in WCW, used his politicking to kill WCW, is a dickhead, a greedy bastard, is old and associated with that dead promotion that Vince pissed on already and the fans have shown they don't give a shit about. Sure, there's all those reasons. However, Nash is tall and HHH's friend. WORLD TITLE MATERIAL BABY!

I have been gone for like 5 months and oddly somehow tonight did not compel me to want to keep watching. Sad really because I love well *edit*done Pro-Wrestling.

I would have just preferred HHH with a clean pin and moving on to a new contender myself.

They know that the buyrate for this PPV is going to tank so they are having the one gimmick match that can increase buys on its own. There are plenty of gullible marks out there who will buy this PPV based on HIAC matches past, so if the buyrate is better than the last couple of PPVs they can still claim to Vince that they are still draws and deserve to be headlining shows. Fuck you Hunter!
