Weiland should have listened to Slash

Problems could put rumored band in question...

Scott Weiland of the Stone Temple Pilots was arrested for drug possession on Sunday in Los Angeles.

Weiland has recently been part of rumors linking him as the new lead singer of a band consisting of many former Guns N Roses members. Weiland was released from custody after posting $10,000 bail.

Police pulled Weiland over on Sunday for a minor traffic violation before discovering what they believed to be drugs.

A woman who was in the car with Weiland was also arrested.

Weiland's problems with drugs over the years are well chronicled. His manager has confirmed his stints in drug rehab and has been arrested for possession in the past. He even spent time in jail for heroin possession in 1999. He was also arrested in 2001 for domestic violence.

Weiland's drug problems have caused tension between himself and the former Guns N Roses members that he has been linked to, including Slash.

Fuck, when a rock star says he's clean, does he ever mean it? I think not. Oh well, if Scot goes to jail/rehab again, I'm betting on a good STP album, as No. 4, the last after-jail STP album kicked most ass.

A little more on the story. All though I don't think anyone gives a shit, because of the lack of posts in this thread.

Two years after finishing his last jail term....

It is being reported on billboard.com that the drugs that Weiland was carrying while he was arrested on the weekend were Cocaine and Heroin. Weiland was arrested along with Jennifer Lynn Sires were pulled over by police for driving with their headlights out. Police searched the car and found the drugs at that time. Weiland is out on $25,000 bail.
