ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2003 I'm starting to like the return to old-school style managers. We had Heyman...we HAD Rico...there's Teddy Long and Roddy Piper... It's nice to see Old School return...in that respect anyway.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2003 (edited) What happened to that Jindrak fella?! you know Sean's old invasion partner Palumbo was O'Haire's partner in the InVasion. Jindrak was O'Haire's partner in WCW. Edited May 23, 2003 by LaParkaYourCar
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Report post Posted May 23, 2003 I dont think Jinrak ever appeared on WWE tv... He's probably still in OVW, alongside guys who have been tehre for years like Dinsmore, Basham, and Conway. Yet Grenier and Dupree instantly get put WWE tv because "americans hate the french"
Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted May 23, 2003 It sucks that we have guys like O Haire selling so much for Hogan. That's the problem with this whole nostagia thing. We have young wrestlers working slower and worse for the older wrestlers, instead of the old ones adapting.

LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2003 I liked this week's Smackdown. Lots of good matches. The Main Event wasn't that good, but that's okay.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Umm...Why not just un-mask him there? He wants to make Mr. America/Hulk Hogan suffer...making him stew in the fact that next week he has to get ready for this test.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted May 23, 2003 I would like to add that the new theme music is available for download in the Spoiler thread, although too many people going for it will probably fark it given that its on geocrappies. Its the full song in mp3 (595 kb) plus pyro/cole, but I think you can edit that out.

He wants to make Mr. America/Hulk Hogan suffer...making him stew in the fact that next week he has to get ready for this test. In two weeks: After passing the lie detector test, Mr. McMahon was irate, and ordered Mr. America to have a DNA test tonight on Smackdown! What will the DNA Test prove? Tune in tonight at 8:00/7:00 central to find out! Doctor:(Holding up tube of blood thats red/white/blue striped) - Thats..very unusual.. Vince: (muttering under his breath) probably the damn steroids.. Mr. America: Mr. America bleeds red white and blue brother! Later on in the show.. Vince: So, damn it, is Mr. America Hogan? Doctor: Well, the blood sample we got matches the DNA of every single American in the country, but not Hogan. Vince: Damnit!
thuganomics 0 Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Pretty ok first hour or so minus the worthless Vince segments. Second hour blew though.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Damnit UPN. I forgot which channel SD was on, now I got two hours of TNN recorded instead of SD.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Yeah, but a good Benoit match and an excellent tag title match? *sigh* Think they'll show the entire match on Velocity or something?
Guest Michael Joel Benoit Report post Posted May 23, 2003 SmackDown was an alright show this week. Better than last week's show, IMO. I like that new theme song and opening video. "Beautiful People" was getting kind of stale and I didn't like how they just added new people posing to the opening video. I like this new video better. Btw, I think Connecuit Yankee did the theme song.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Thus making these young wrestlers look like shit O'Haire does a fine job at that by himself. He doesn't need Hogan to look bad.

Jindrak was O'Haire's partner in WCW. Jindrak was O'Haire's original tag partner in WCW. He later teamed w/ Palumbo, winning the tag belts w/ Chuck. And Jindrak has had a couple matches on Heat. Guest tank_abbott Report post Posted May 23, 2003 EASY about Nash v. Taker....I'd take Taker on his worst day over Nash on his best day any day of the week. Taker gives a shit, Nash obviously doesn't. Nash's best days: Vs Bret SSeries 95 Taker at WM, vs Shawn at GFBE Taker's worst: vs Bossman at WM, any match he had during late 99 when he was too hurt to wrestle and had the Big Show doing his dirty work... hmmmm... I'll take Nash ... Discuss

Guest Goodear Report post Posted May 23, 2003 Thus making these young wrestlers look like shit O'Haire does a fine job at that by himself. He doesn't need Hogan to look bad. Oh ho! Obvisiously you didn't notice that O'Haire is a MARTIAL ARTS EXPERT!!! You can tell cause he kicks with his SHINS! Granted so far he's only worked with Rikishi and Hogan but the signs aren't too freaking good that Sean is going to be busting out twelve star matches anytime this year.
