Guest Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Oh, come on! Hurricane to Smackdown? Hardys stayed together, and get Lita too. Hrm. I thought Jericho would be on Raw for sure. Vince just HAS to make himself look better.
Guest Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Smackdown will be the Lightheavyweight show, I'm surprised. At least that's how it looks so far.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Looks like Vince also gets the Cruisers. Man I thought Flair was supposed to have the Wrestling show!!! His show is shaping up to suck with that roster.
Guest Some Guy Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 They must, I repeat MUST do some trades or Flair's Raw will look like a bunch of 1980s Hogan opponents. I'm betting/praying that Flair trades nWo for Benoit and Taker for Angle. Hurricane on Smackdown, What up wit that?
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 You forgot: Every damn mark goes to WWF.com. Jesus. They aren't slowing down the vote even with the site unreachable. And what about west coast viewers? Is this all rigged? Who booked this shit? Lance Storm to SmackDown. Crowd, or the rigged jury (who knows) seems to want to put complete garbage on Raw, burying poor RVD. On the plus side, if Raw's roster is complete crap with almost no bright stars short of Lesnar and RVD, they may go ahead and book some trades.
Guest Sakura Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Why was it assumed Ric would have the cruisers? I think the big rumor has always been that Smackdown would be "wrestling" and RAW would be "sports entertainment".
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 So...Flair picked Taker, Big Show, Kane and Nash... and Vince got all the good workers? I'm really going to enjoy Raw...RVD vs. Big Show feud whould own... ahem
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Flair Picks: Jeff Hardy Spike Dudley Mr. Perfect D'lo Brown Vince picks: Albert Hurricane Al Snow Lance Storm
Guest Some Guy Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 This is completely opposite of what we were led to believe. And I don't like it so far. BTW Angle would make a good talent scout, he recomended the 2 best workers in the company. Further proof that Angle is Godly.
Guest teke184 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 RAW's crew looks like the suckiest bunch of sucks to ever suck, along with RVD, Lesnar, and DLo.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Looks like egg on my face. And here all this time I thought the viewers got to vote for this shit. Guess not. Ah well.??? Would have been nice though.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Why was it assumed Ric would have the cruisers? I think the big rumor has always been that Smackdown would be "wrestling" and RAW would be "sports entertainment". I think that was because it was thought Flair was getting Smackdown. Since Flair got Raw, then most assumed he would get the cruisers.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Smackdown gets DDP. RAW gets Goldust.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 If They just traded RVD and Lesner to Smackdown...I wouldn't watch Raw. Maybe Flair and Vince will switch shows...since they both took who the other wanted.
Guest Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Please please please please please please don't put Stacy on Smackdown also. It's going to be reeeeeally hard for me to watch Raw if they do. I need my DSQ(Daily Stacy Quotient)! Fuck. She's on Smackdown.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Flair: Stasiak Terrie Jackie Golddust Vince: DDP Torrie Scotty 2 Hotty Stacy
Guest tetsubeav Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 You know the saddest part of the draft? Looking at the results and seeing Mr. Perfect (2 time IC champ) below Jeff Hardy (5-time WWF Tag Team Champion, WCW Tag Team Champion, 2-time Hardcore Champion, Light Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion). It hurts to see that list of gold beside Jeff's name and then the short list for Perfect.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Flair: Trish Justin Credible Vince: Christian Test
Guest Some Guy Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 BPS I think you got it. Flair and Vince switch and make a few wrestler trades. BTW if they're going to go with a "real" sports theme with free agents and trades why not make AA Flair's GM and Howard Finkle or sombody Vince's GM?
Guest godthedog Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 i, for one, am extremely happy with how this is turning out. almost all the crap is being put on to 'raw', making the crap easier to ignore and making it easier for smackdown to put on consistently great wrestling shows. this is about ten steps in the right direction, i think. at this point, i wouldn't be happy if austin ended up going to flair's camp (although that looks extremely likely, as flair doesn't have nearly as much name value as vince right now). i'd be pissed if angle, benoit or jericho got traded.
Guest Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Okay, I can assuage my own fears by remembering the whole idea that there will be trades, but for now I'm morbidly displeased. I can't think of any people Raw could snag right now to bring it out of the gutter since Austin's a "free agent." How the hell could he have that clause in his contract anyway? The split was announced LAST WEEK!!
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Here's a funny thing: Some markets don't carry UPN...and thus Most of the "biggest stars" won't be seen by those markets...EVER. hmm......
Guest Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Vince gets Test, FINALLY. I still think Test can be something big, but so can so many other people, and there's only so much time they have every week to push people.
Guest KOR420 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Flair punked McMahon for Lesnar, that was the greatest thing on RAW
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Maybe the stars on Smackdown will create more demand for UPN, and spread it to more markets if possible. Just like they did when RAW converted to TNN...not everyone had it, so the WWF motivated people to call their cable company and get it.
Guest Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 APA is split up, oh well. Another trade. SMELL THE DREAMER/RAVEN FEUD ON RAW! That isn't joking either. Tazz on Smackdown, hopefully not as an announcer. Bossman on Raw, now it's just getting funny with how bad Flair's getting the shaft.
Guest godthedog Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 You know the saddest part of the draft? the fact that chris jericho was picked after bradshaw.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 hmmm....good point El Luchadore. I wonder if UPN gave McMahon some "incentives" to put so many stars on Smackdown. And look at the bright side... Now RVD really IS the whole fuckin' show.
Guest teke184 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Luchadore, Good thought, but not correct. TNN was a cable station, so it was a matter of calling up the cable station and asking for the channel. UPN is a network, so UPN would have to be building stations (or stealing them from competitors) like a muthafucka to get Smackdown into all the markets that want to see the WWF.
