Shinjiro Ohtani vs Super Delfin

Im rewatching my J Cup 94 tape and im watching Shinjiro just tearing the shit out of Delfin's leg in nearly every Single leg submission hold imaginable. The guy to Non puro watches, doesn't look Flashy costume wise as majority of his fellows in the tournament but damn, as soon as the bell rang he just Jumped and dropped Delfin.

 

What I was wondering is that if he and Chris Benoit in either his Pegasus Kid or Wild pegasus form ever wrestle against each other...

 

and if so what events? i'd think Ohtani vs Benoit would be Technically sound as nothing anything in the states could produce from that time to now.

Ohtani and Benoit had a J Crown match at the Final Power Hall show in November of 1997. I've never seen it, but I'd guess it was a good match.

The '96 match is indeed awesome.

 

The '94 J-cup match of Ohtani's got me into him too. It's short, and not the best representation of his skills, and Delfin beats him with like 2 friggin' moves, one of which is a pin, yet I loved watching Ohtani casually and disdainfully torture that leg.
