Guest The Bad Guy Report post Posted May 27, 2003 With Nash and Triple H battling in Hell in a Cell at next month's PPV "Bad Blood", the Ric Flair face turn being aborted after seven days, and countless other horrible things happening in the WWE at the moment... I want to remind you of the one thing that still hasn't happened yet... the one thing that we've never mentioned... we thought that it couldn't happen... That's right. With talk of the Ultimate Warrior and Lex Luger making their not so triumphant returns in the near future remember one thing... Jorge Gonzalez could come back at any moment and get a main event push just like the one he had in 1993. Makes the product look just a little better doesn't it? Guest Heavy As Hell Report post Posted May 27, 2003 Didnt Giant Gonzales die not too long after his WWF run?
Guest edotherocket Report post Posted May 27, 2003 The story I always hear is that he is happily retired and out of the wrestling business (which he didn't like) and he raises cattle in Argentina. It'd be funny if he still wore his Naked Man suit around the house.

Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 27, 2003 Jorge Gonzalez could come back at any moment and get a main event push just like the one he had in 1993. Makes the product look just a little better doesn't it? Actually No... Jorge pretty much killed his legs shortly after his Stint with WWF in 1993 and hasn't returned to the ring and never really wanted to... He is much more at peace in his Native Village and is some what considred a god over there. And Secondly...MAIN EVENT PUSH? He really wasn't given a main event push if you think about it..He was always treated and promoted as a Special Attraction... Speaking of which...Did Gonzalez ever wrestle anyone else in WWF besides Taker?

Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted May 27, 2003 Funny you bring that up. I was watching an old episode of Saturday Night Live, and they showed a picture of him and Ted Turner and made some crack about Gonzalez being Jane Fonda.

Speaking of which...Did Gonzalez ever wrestle anyone else in WWF besides Taker? Yeah, he had a few jobber squashes on Superstars leading up to the WMIX match with Taker. Basically all he would do in the matches would be choke his opponent with his boot, pound the back with his forearm, and a weak ass chokeslam.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 27, 2003 Ah Yes...Wasn't He a first round choice for the Turner Owned Hawks or something? And then he blew his knees and Turner had to use him in some capaticy and shipped him to his RASSLING company.

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 27, 2003 The "worse" will come in the form of celebrity involvement. Which should be happening soon... Celebrities? At their current level they'd be lucky to get Clint Howard. Well, unless they find bigger name celebrities that happen to be big wrestling fan.

Guest ArkhamGlobe Report post Posted May 27, 2003 Speaking of which...Did Gonzalez ever wrestle anyone else in WWF besides Taker? I know he had a horrible match with Randy Savage that's on the 1993 Year in Review tape. I don't know if it was ever televised though.
