The best King Of The Ring match was Undertaker vs HHH.

In my view that match was just great.

Some fans didnt like that match but I rate it a classic.

Best moment was when Mankind came flying off the Hell In The Cell dam that was a shocker which fans wont forget ever.

Undertaker v. HHH????

27 minutes of punching, punching and more punching, an overbooked ending and HHH doing the biggest non-job in history? Riiiiight

Best match is Angle vs Shane.

I didn't think Taker and HHH was as bad as most smarks said it was, but calling it a classic is a BIG stretch. It was no Road Dogg/Chyna you know!

My favorite match would be either HBK/Bulldog or Bret/Perfect from 93. I'm tempted to throw HBK/Austin from 97 in there too, but I won't.

papcita- It was BAD.

Watching it live I didnt think it was too bad but when I bought the DVD I watched it again-it's sooo long and sooo slow.

It's between Angle-Shane from 2001 and Bret-Hennig from 1993 for me.

And I was at last year's KOR live, and even in person Undertaker-HHH was a boring piece of garbage. If Rocky wouldn't have come back three weeks early the crowd would have been begging for their money back.

They were- I remember the crowd was very quiet and then IF YA SMELLLL finally woke them up. Thank God for that

KOTR 1994 final ("The Rocket" Owen Hart vs. Razor Ramon)

Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog at KOTR 1996 for the WWE Championship

KOTR 2001's Triple Threat (the only good match of the PPV) between SCSA, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho for the World Championship

Austin vs. Michaels is such a great match. Has maybe about two restholds that are short in the beginning, but the rest is high-octane great action, with a hot crowd (face vs. face matches are nice). Weird ending, but that's the only bad part about it.

Mr. Perfect vs. Bret Hart - King of the Ring 1993

Best match from the best KotR, in my opinion.

It hasn't been mentioned yet, but Owen vs. Kid from '94 is pretty good.

Bret vs. Perfect.

I'd put Undertaker vs. HHH up there with Diesel vs. King Mabel as worst WWE main event ever.

Let me get this straight - you included Taker vs. HHH but left out ANGLE vs. SHANE-O-MAC? Madness.

I think it should be 'let me get this straight, you included HHH vs taker but left out just about any other match in the kotr ever'- the match really was that bad considering who was in it and what was expected from a major ppv main event. I mean matches like Yoko vs Savio were probably worse but this was match contested by supposedly talented main eveters with a big build up and the buyrate of the ppv resting on it...

I'll say Angle vs. Shane, as well. Problem is, I've never seen Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect from 1993...

HHH vs Undertaker was fucking horrible and deserves to be nowhere on that list.

I voted for Austin/HBK from 97 because it's a perennial favorite of mine although Angle/Shane is every bit as good if not slightly better.

Perfect/Bret from 93 is right behind them.

I would also like to make an honerable mention for Mero/Austin 96, a really solid match that noone ever mentions. These two carried the wwf midcard through 96. And Owen/1-2-3 Kid, highspots galore and the best under five minutes match I've probably ever seen.
