Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 I know I've said this before about old-timers, but here it goes again. The WWE needs to bring back Dino Bravo. He'll probly work for whatever they give him, and i doubt he;ll argue about jobbing to young guys. It'd be perfect. Uh, he's dead.
Guest razazteca Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 So who has a book to promote this week?

LooseCannon25 Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 UUUUUUM.......they would have to figure out how to reincarnate him first....the dude's been dead for 10 years bro
Guest Austin3164life Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 Pretty stupid for Rocky to return to one show, as entertaining as he is. If he comes on the "High-Lite Reel" and puts over Jericho and/or possibly Christian, I'm all for it. But this is the WWE, and logic is thrown out the window, so Rock will Rock-Bottom Jericho and root for Goldberg.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 How can the Rock put them over, though?
Guest Austin3164life Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 How can the Rock put them over, though? Rocky can put Christian over by stating the fact that Christian is his favorite wrestler, and he declares Christian the new People's Champion. He can go on Jericho's High-Lite Reel and tell Jericho and the fans that Jericho is far too bright and talented a wrestler for him to be beaten by that dumb-jock Goldberg. Rock is inventive on the mic, and I'm sure he can pull it off.

Guest Choken One Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 Am i the only one that caught the scarcasm in QUIK's Bravo statement? Anyways...Rock coming back blow Jericho's cock is good for me...
Guest Rob Edwards Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 "You cheer that jabroni Goldberg whilst ignoring a TRUE superstar in Chris Jericho etc etc" works for me
Guest Just call me Dan Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 This strikes me as bad for Jericho in the end. I see one of two things happening. Rock will get all serious and tell Jericho that goldberg is the real deal and hype him up as unstoppable, scaring Jericho and make the fans want to see him get torn up. He will proceed to avoid Goldberg until the PPV, get fed and get nothig from this feud. If Rock is quickly sacrificed to save Jericho's heat and try to make it look like Jericho/Goldberg is going to be more evenly matched than Rock/Goldberg (Rock during the whole match expressed fear and you know he never had a chance) and Jericho STILL gets fed to Goldberg, it will kill him again when Triple H whoops GBerg's ass or seems to be the only one that can contend with him. Basically I know Chris is going to just be fed to Goldberg rather than being a worthy opponent, so if they try to make it look like anything else but that it makes Chris look like even more of a pussy when he actually recieves the burial.
TheFranchise Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 You people.... You honestly think Goldberg will be here come SS?
Guest Just call me Dan Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 Golberg will be around until AT LEAST WMXX. when the WWE scouts someone for that long (Look at Steiner) they'll keep 'em around as long as possible. they don't just admit mistakes they make like that. Scott Hall was never a hot commodity they waited and waited for, so he got dropped. Steiner and Goldy are COMPLETE opposites.
Guest Nanks Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 I'm really not sure Quik was being sarcastic Choken........ but YouthNAsia, you're right, that sure would pop a rating, I'd tune in to see someone brought back to life!!
Guest Quik Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 Thank you Choken, I'm glad someone picked up on that. See, Dino Bravo is dead-- that's the funny part He won't argue about jobbing... BECAUSE HE'S DEAD. He won't argue about pay... BECAUSE HE'S DEAD, etc.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 You know what i remember about Muraco the most...........that Hogan could NEVER beat him one on one. I remember when i was little where Hogan would always get counted out or would win by DQ over Muraco. Once, Muraco tombstoned piledrive Hogan on the outside and won by countout. Hogan never got his job back! Not to crush your fond memories of Hogan not going over, but I think that feud was eventually settled with Hogan winning in a cage. Most of Hogan's feuds in the mid-eighties were like that. Savage, Studd, Orndorff, Bossman, Kamala(!) would all have Hogan losing by countouts or he'd win by DQ and then get beat down after the match, but he'd always win the big blowoff convincingly. Most feuds were structured like that back then, when everybody feuded for 3 or 4 months before changing partners.
ChrisMWaters Posted May 30, 2003 Report Posted May 30, 2003 If they're gonna bring someone back from the dead to wrestle, bring back Owen! We'd have the Owen/Angle classics!
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted May 30, 2003 Report Posted May 30, 2003 Rocky can put Christian over by stating the fact that Christian is his favorite wrestler, and he declares Christian the new People's Champion. How did it get Christian over? Is Christian somehow more important now as he was 3 months ago? 5 months ago? 6 months ago? I don't see how that works. He can go on Jericho's High-Lite Reel and tell Jericho and the fans that Jericho is far too bright and talented a wrestler for him to be beaten by that dumb-jock Goldberg. Rock is inventive on the mic, and I'm sure he can pull it off. 1)Rock will steal the spotlight from Jericho. 2)Rock's credibility gets shot with every put over match and with every 'return'.
Rendclaw Posted May 30, 2003 Report Posted May 30, 2003 I have to admit, i would rather see Muraco than the Rock at this point... ::imagines the crowd hyping up with "Beach Bum" chants::
Guest Spicy McHaggis Posted May 30, 2003 Report Posted May 30, 2003 2)Rock's credibility gets shot with every put over match and with every 'return'. Wrong. The Rock's credibility is untouchable. Seriously.
