Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 29, 2003 Ohio Valley TV Taping Results Louisville, Kentucky - May 28, 2003 Report By: Aaron "Lurch" Wilson (1) Jillian Hall defeated Maxi Minx in a dark match. (2) Nick Dinsmore defeated Derrick King. Mark Henry was shown collecting money for the WHAS Crusade for Children Jim Cornette opened off the next segment on the mic stating that the Restraining order placed on Damaja by Doug Basham had a flaw in it, and was null and void, since Davis Arena is private property. Damaja came to the ring and challenged Doug Basham, Rob Conway and Johnny Spade to a match on June 13 at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Cornette stated that he thought that challenge was crazy as the Revolution stormed their way down to the ring. The Revolution accepted the supposed three on one challenge for Six Flags on 6/13; so Damaja went on to inform the Revolution that Big Show will be his partner in the match. At this point The Revolution attacked Damaja but Damaja was prepared as he cleared the ring of the Revolution with his weapon, the flapjack. (3) Johnny Jeter & Mark Magnus fought Johnny Spade & Kanyon to a no contest. The finish came when Magnus turned on Jeter at the end of the match, joining the ranks of Spade and Kanyon. Jim Cornette introduced the Third Generation Superstar Randy Orton to the ringside area for an interview segment. Orton came out acting like the Rock, being extremely arrogant. He basically made fun of all of the talent when Cornette asked for his opinion on the rookies in OVW, but Matt Morgan assured him that he had made fun of the wrong rookie. Morgan came out to confront Orton and challenged him to a match. Orton accepted the challenge and told him he'd wrestle him in the ring right then and told Morgan that he would follow him to the ring. Morgan turned his back as Orton took full advantage and slammed Jim Cornette's announcing chair into the back of Orton as Orton continually hit Morgan in the back with a chair until the referees made the same. (4) Tank Toland defeated Mike Taylor in a dark match. Jim Cornette was joined by the McMahan fire department in the ring for the next segment. Cornette was proud to present over $1,000 to the fire department, donated by the many fans in the Davis Arena for the Crusade for Children. Kenny Bolin interrupted this segment by stating that he wanted to make a contribution and had contacted Bolin Services Financial backer Mark Cuban (owner of the Dallas Mavericks) and he was proud to donate Ten Thousand dollars. Unfortunately, Bolin must have misplaced the Ten Grand as it was not in his wallet, but Bolin attempted to make up for it by donating Four Tickets to "WWF Raw is War" but Bolin pointed out that these tickets were for 1999 and weren't worth anything. Bolin attempted to make up for this with food coupons and free car washes but Jim Cornette took this as a huge insult. In the end Jim Cornette decided to punish Bolin by saying that Kenny Bolin had to be in the Davis Arena parking lot from 5-7 pm next Wednesday night before the taping and that anyone who donated ten dollars would be able to slam a cream pie into the face of Kenny Bolin. Cornette said that if Bolin no-showed, all of Bolin Services would be barred from ringside indefinitely. (5) "Machine" Doug Basham & Rob Conway (w/Jackie Gayda, Nikita) defeated Chris Cage & Nova (dubbed "Adrenaline") via pinfall. In the end, Conway used the loaded glove as a weapon and his team scored the pin.

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 29, 2003 Doesn't this belong in the Indy forum...? not necessarly. as the OVW is a WWE farm fed and has WWE wrestlers working there in. so its WWE business.
thuganomics 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2003 OVW is spiffy. Now this is a handy review, being that OVW's website has taken to not giving us rundowns to what's on their collection tapes, I can make use of this...
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted May 30, 2003 The Bolin angle's a good way to draw fans of OVW. I'd pay ten bucks to hit a heel manager in the face with a pie.... If I had money to burn.

Guest Jimmy Saint Report post Posted May 31, 2003 Not seen OVW in a while. Does the crowd still shit on Nova ? Even though he is supposed to be face. That always makes em smile. Kenny Bolin is keeping the scene alive for heel managers. Some classic Bolin Services moments would be when him and Prototype went to see Mark Cuban in Dallas. Cena was just being the biggest dickhead ever blanking the multi-millianare owner at first then laughing at him and calling him a joke whilst Kenny Bolin was talking a mile a minute trying to screw Cuban out of all his money. Another was when they were setting up one of their OVW spot show events which had a Bolin Services challenge arm wrestling match. They get this gym teacher from the High School where the show is gonna be and he is the dumbest most inbreed redneck I have ever seen and he challenges Bolin. Kenny B replies with "arn't you the guy from that film Slingblade ?......Umm umh ah ah just killed my mama.....i'mma sorry mama". Even Cornette was trying not to laugh at that shit. Guest kane3212321 Report post Posted May 31, 2003 My favourite Bolin moment was The Munsters imitation of the DOS. Rico and Prototypes bits were absolutely priceless. I also loved the tag match where Rico and Prototype sat at ringside on chairs with their feet up on the ring eating popcorn and randomly throwing it at the DOS.
