Guest Polish_Rifle Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 Dark Angel The Norm Show Ned & Stacy
Guest mach7 Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 (edited) I'm sure they've all been mentioned before, but my list is: Family Guy Futurama Clerks [the only piece of work from Kevin Smith I ever actually enjoyed] Undergrads Mission Hill Oblongs [i heard this was cancelled, is it true?] That said, IMO, the Simpsons should have been cancelled A LONG TIME AGO. I never understood how Futurama & the Family Guy got axed over the Simpsons. I guess it was the whole "guaranteed money maker" thing.. but still. Edited June 5, 2003 by mach7
Guest Ripper Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 After watching the REAL first episode that Joss Whedon wanted to do, I will say Firefly. When I saw the premere that Fox forced him to put on, I had no idea who these characters were, and had no reason to care about them. And since I don't like space movies/shows all that much, I couldn't take it. I hung around for 2 weeks and then just let it go. But then I saw the real pilot that Fox had deemed "to much talking and not enough action" and I REALLY cared about what would happen next...of course it was cancelled by then. Plus, where else to you get to see Gina Torre's sexy lips outside of that few seconds in Matrix reloaded.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 Has X-Men Evolution been cancelled? Was Apocolypse ever revealed? It has been renewed for at least a fourth season. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Apocolypse was unleashed in the Season 3 Finale by Rogue. Mystique was killed in that same episode. Has the episode in your spoiler space happened yet? Because I haven't seen it on the WB or on Cartoon Network. I haven't either and from what I can tell the last 4 episodes of the third season never aired anywhere. The online guides I use for TV shows (pazsaz.com, epguides.com and tvtome.com) all list Under Lock and Key as the last aired episode and that was in November. There are supposed to be 4 more (Cruise Control, X23, and the two part season ender) but none of those have air dates listed like they never aired. I also can't find those 4 episodes to download online which is how I got every other episode of the series. Brisco County lasted one season, 27 episodes and all 27 rocked ass. Now THAT is a television show I'd buy on DVD. The final four episodes of Season 3 have not aired in the US yet for some reason, but they have pretty much everywhere else.
Guest wrestlingbs Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 Briscoe ran for only 27 episodes? That was the show that I was thinking of, but I didn't think it was that short. I liked the show initially, but after awhile it just didn't do anything for me. Add me to the list for Futurama. Funnier than Simpsons at the time, FOX treated it like an unwanted step-child, always preempting it.
Guest Lil Naitch Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 Glory Days Birds of Prey (so I liked it, shoot me:)
Guest ShooterJay Posted June 5, 2003 Report Posted June 5, 2003 Brimstone- that show was totally engrossing. Undergrads- caught the reruns on Comedy Central, hilarious stuff. Why can't shows about college stay on their air? Undeclared- ditto. Greg the Bunny- I loved the puppets, especially the turtle. And Sara Silverman is my personal goddess. Whatever happened to Andy Richter's show?
Guest two_tuff_toddy Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Here's my list. Andy Richter Freaks and Geeks My So Called Life Titus Family Guy Brimstone Birds Of Prey Undergrads Sports Night Undeclared Clone High Brother's Grunt - I've yet to find a person who has liked this show and very few who have ever seen it which is why it got cancelled but I thought it was hilarious. I guess I just have a rare sense of humor or something.
Guest bob_barron Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 Dark Angel The Norm Show Ned & Stacy Considering Norm lasted three seasons- I wouldn't say it was cancelled too soon. They also wrapped up the Norm-community service and the Norm-Faith Ford storylines before the show ended so at least they got to wrap everything up
Guest Sto0pit Posted June 7, 2003 Report Posted June 7, 2003 3 South Clone High Greg The Bunny Andy Richter Controls The Universe Titus
