Albert and Kane had a shockingly good *** match for the IC title a year or so ago, but I don't remember much about it. I do remember being shocked and entertained by the match which had the net talking about it for a few days

 

I'm no fan of A-Train but to say he has no talent is bullshit and typical unwarranted smartmark arrogance. For a man of his size, he can pull off some pretty impressive moves. However, the day he main events a pay per view is the day I stop watching SD all together.

Kane v. Albert had two matches.

 

One was before the KOTR and is known as being as the "shockingly good matcH".

 

The other was the SD! after KOTR. Kane pulled off a hurricarana. Albert won after DDP interference.

 

Albert can be carried. His matches with Benoit were great and when Edge is on offense- their matches were quite watchable.

 

But putting him with someone whose not in the Smackdown! 6- recipe for disaster.

You have to go all the way back to Kurt Angle to find someone that the Undertapper has had a better match with.

He's been carried by Benoit and Edge, and had a miracle with Kane. Okay, I can see a *little* worth to him, but there are plenty of people who are WAY more over, and had WAY better matches.

Why not give him a shot? He's never had a solid singles push and even now they paired him with Big Show sporatically, which means he's not taking up such precious air-time that could be used for a ladder match or whatever.

 

He's by no means a bad wrestler, he works his ass off, and is considerably enteraining at times, despite how much your opinion is factual in your own head, if he's not being overused, and he's not, then what the hell is the problem?

The argument seems to be that there are some others that suck MORE, therefore A-Train does not suck. Thats inane...being the BEST OF THE CRAPPY BIG MEN still makes you a CRAPPY BIG MAN.

I think much of the hatred my Beloved receives can be attributed to his unique look. If A-train looked more "normal", ie back hair, huge head, etc people wouldn't complain about him so much.

 

Also, the front office's multiple attempts to get him over pisses a lot of smarks off, as well.

If they gave Albert a shirt and some decent pants, and gave him Big Show's spot on the SmackDown! roster, I'd be perfectly happy. I'd rather have a Benoit or a Rhyno in that spot, but I know that Vince needs to have a big man in the upper card, and I can see the appeal to having one big man on each show. A-Train on Smackdown, Kane on RAW, and get rid of the rest.

Eddie Guerrero annoys the fuck out of me and I don't like his matches. He's therefore a shitty wrestler if I use your train of thought.

Big Show isn't as bad as people say either. He has charisma and he isn't as bad in the ring as guys like Nash, Steiner or Test.

Yesterday I watched the Owen Hart Raw where Big Show came in, briefly beat the shit out of his opponent, chokeslammed him, goodnight.

 

 

He was over and getting noise the whole fucking time.

 

Seriously, Big Show just needs to be able to lay out dudes quickly like that before he gets exposed as a weak worker and he'd be over.

 

 

As for A-Train, I think a lot of the hate around here comes that backstage gave him Matt Hardy's push when the version 1 thing was new and had everyone marking out.

The weak point in A-Train is simply his Attire or lack of it.

 

If they would just throw back the Leather Jeans and the Tight Black Tank...and then that would greatly improve things by about 64% right away.

 

He has an AMAZING look and has a twinge of Charisma...He might just be the most spirted HOSS next to Vader...

 

 

All they gotta do is lock him up with about 24 tapes of Vader and let him imiate that shit...

 

Edge can be a GREAT Sting when he comes back!

My Dad only watches wrestling for the big guys, so I suppose there is a market for it. If wrestling was all finesse and finely toned muscle I think a lot of people would turn off. A-Train gives a bit of variety to the show. He is big, yet fit and is a decent wrestler. He's still young and has shown himself eager to learn. He doesn't suck, and he works hard and that's good enough for me.

 

Put him on Tough Enough to show people that he is good in the ring and is a decent guy.
