Guest KJ Brackish Report post Posted June 6, 2003 I personally am looking forward to someday, somewhere, a Triple Tier Cage Match. I think it would be a kick arse match, unless they ruin it like they are with the HIAC match that is coming up. But IMO, TT Cage Match would rule all. Guest Army Eye Report post Posted June 6, 2003 A War Games match. Would they even do it correctly, doubtful, but I think it's downright stupid to buy WCW and not use the WarGames concept.

Now that Jeff Hardy's gone though, who would be a willing participant for it? Who's insane enough to do it? I'm throwing out names, don't expect a real reason people. Kurt Angle if you probably give him enough of a reason too. Perhaps Tommy Dreamer. Tajiri? I mean, he's might've been in one. Um... Other than that, we could always hope for you know wHHHo to be stupid enough to get involved in one. Although, he'd be the winner though (cause he never jobs in single matches anymore) so that doesn't work.

Then we'd get lucky...Goldberg falls head-first onto a C4 explosive as he gives HHH the, as I call it, "Hart Stopper" kick to HHH's head. Two big, ugly birds with one exploding stone. >=)
Guest KJ Brackish Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Now that Jeff Hardy's gone though, who would be a willing participant for it? Hmmm...thats a tough one... I'm gonna take a wild guess and say The Undertaker. I sound like a complete n00b, but there really is logic behind it. After watching the HIAC match between Brock and Taker, and seeing him lose so much blood, I have gained a certain respect for him. I just think he would, because he's got not alot to lose so, why not.... IMO of course. DFA
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted June 6, 2003 I mark for Inferno Matches since they both effectively get rid of run-ins and make for some neat dramatic effect at the same time, but I understand the reason they don't do those anymore.

DFA Wasn't the reasoning behind Taker's loss of so much blood in that Hell in a Cell match because that he accidentally cut the wrong part of his forehead when doing the blade-job? If it wasn't for that, I don't think we'd have seen that much blood lost from Mr. Calloway.

Still, I gained some respect for him in some way. It was a high moment in his career IMO. DFA
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted June 6, 2003 I wouldn't mind another Iron Man match, if given the proper build (that shouldn't be a problem, now that we've got PPVs for each brand every two months instead of one) and the right participants. Matches like that can't help but get both people over, since both are required to go at it for a full hour and down to the wire (or else it wouldn't be interesting). As far as outside-WWE concepts, I don't really see anything I'd want other than War Games. I'm not a fan of cage matches where the rules are to escape in some fashion, which is what the Triple Tier Cage is, effectively. Everything else is either really stupid or way too violent, or stupidly violent.

Everything else is either really stupid or way too violent, or stupidly violent. Well, when I say Triple Tier Cage Match, its not the escaping one, it is the same as in the *greatest movie in the world* Ready To Rumble. When a belt is suspended above the top tier cage. Its like all the matches combined into one super match. Does anyone else like the TTCM?!? DFA

Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted June 6, 2003 It's escaping your opponent by scurrying up through the cages. I know very well what you meant. You can at least knock a ladder over, whereas in the triple tier cage, all you can do to stop your opponent is a bunch of really delicate brawling for fear of falling off or the motherfucker breaking underneath you. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted June 6, 2003 How about the "Tower of Doom" from that one Great American Bash? I have the match if anyone's interested. I've put a description below, but for those who don't care, think of it as a WarGames match with a triple decker cage. Basically, two teams start at the top of a triple decker cage and every three minutes or so one man from each team (alternating) gets in while the doors to the lower cages open up for a short period. In the case of the WCW match, all a worker had to do was get to the ring then out the door. First team to have all their workers out the door wins. Obviously, the best way to book this kind of match is to have a face and heel chase each other through the last trapdoor in the same period then stop the other from getting to the door, leading to a brutal brawl between the two winded competitors to the exit. WCW seemed fit to just let several guys go through the door scott-free and didn't add any drama in the bottom cage until the confrontation between Jimmy Garvin and Kevin Sullivan at the end, which sorta sucks the life out of the match. Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted June 6, 2003 See, this was my problem with a lot of WCW/NWA concepts. It tries to seem random and add suspense and such, but to me, the casual observer to the promotion (as I was, I never really followed it hardcore), it was just waaaaaaay too confusing and overdone. Guest KJ Brackish Report post Posted June 6, 2003 I don't mean to bash on the match (and I'd probably have to see it to grasp it.) But that match sounds a little boring, just as a TTCM might. I think I'll go out and rent that video just to see that match and see what it is. I mean, I've never even seen this WarGames match that you guys talk about. Guest Ray Report post Posted June 6, 2003 What kind of match are you longing to see?, In the WWE right now...... How about a good straight wrestling match. No run-ins, no ref bumps, no lame DQ sledgeHHHamer finishes, no "OMG hes got the tights!", no feet on the ropes........just good storytelling, psychology, and *wrestling*. Murmuring Beast 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2003 I want to see a water match in which they only way you can win is by drowing your opponent. Taker - Trips anyone?
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted June 6, 2003 Benoit vs Angle-Ironman steel cage match or 2/3 falls-I would never book this though since I'd feel too guilty. Wargames-This concept usually worked in WCW. I think the WWE is too scared to do an actual Wargames match since it's not their original concept Pirahna deatch match-HHH vs Kevin Nash vs Vinnie Mac vs Undertapper

Guest kane3212321 Report post Posted June 6, 2003 My idea for a tag team ladder match. Have 2 belts suspended in different places over the ring, if a team gets two belts they win, but if each team gets a belt it becomes a tornado style match with the first pin of submission ending the match.
