Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Report post Posted June 8, 2003 I wonder if it eats at Triple H that The Rock and Austin get on Leno, get to appear at the Emmys, do a guest spot at the Republican national convention, etc. while all he gets to do is the 2nd tier talk shows like Conan O'Brien (only 2nd tier in terms of publicity and timeslotting, not entertainment value) and Kimmel. I don't remember seeing The Rock or Austin until they got into The Scorpion King and Nash Bridges, respectively. Save for that time period where Leno was involved with WCW, I remember he had people on then. I don't remember Austin's segment (well, the one I saw anyway) having anything to do with Nash Bridges. Austin came out with a beer, and he and Leno talked about the origin of the Steve Austin name, and I think they promoted Wrestlemania.
