Guest pete Report post Posted June 8, 2003 I must say the house show business must be drawing horribly if Austin is any indication. The show drew between 2000-3000 people. I bought my ticket the day before the show and was able to get 5th row seats on the floor. The crowd was totally hot for the show though. The best match was Guerrero/Tajiri(v) Team Angle. They worked a Southern Style tag match with updated moves with a flavor of Lucha. Eddie is a total workhorse in the ring. This match blew away everything on the show. Overall, it was a great time, but the WWE needs to face reality and acknowledge the fact that they aren't a hot company anymore. They need to release a card on the day of ticket sales; not the day before the show. Advertising for the show was horrible. 1. They opened up the show with Cena and Rikishi. It was a fun opener. They need to use Rikishi like this. The crowd really likes him. Cena got tons of heat. Cena went over with his feet on the ropes. 2. Next was a tag match with Rhyno and DeMott against Albert and Crash. DeMott pinned Crash in like 45 seconds. Whatever. 3. Next up was Jamie Noble and Orlando Jordan. It was a basically a nothing match. Except Noble was just working over the knee. Jordan was selling pretty solod. Plus Noble bumped well for Jordan, and mad him look better than he really is.Noble got him to tap out. 4. Next was a 3 way for the Cruiserweight championship. This had Misterio, Hardy, and Spanky in the match. This was the second best match on the card. Spanky and Hardy worked together to defeat Misterio. Hardy drew a lot of heat. Misterio went over Hardy with a 619 and then a splash from the top. 5. Next was the Tag title match. This match was awesome. The Champs pinned Team Angle when the ref 's back was turned Tajiri sneaked in and laid out Hass with a belt shot and rolled and unconscience Eddie Guerrero on top for the pin. 6. Basham Bros vs Kanyon and Funaki. The crowd crapped on this match. Basham Bros went over. 7. Next was O' Haire and Billy Gunn doing the Ass Man Gimmick; complet with DX chops. Gunn got a huge pop. O'Haire went over. 8. Torrie against Nidia with Sable as ring announcer was fun for the guys. Nidia went over with Sables help. Torrie got revenge by pantsing Nidia. 9. Final Match was Lesnar and Undertaker in a handicap match against the FBI. The match was enjoyeable. The crowd dug it because of the star power on the face side. Lesnar won it with the F-5 on Palumbo. Not to be outdone Taker gave Nunzio the last Ride. Again it was a fun show with one blow away match. It was great entertainment. NOBLE WON A MATCH?!! *faints* Glad to see Eddy and Taj still LYING, CHEATING, and STEALING their way to a victory. 8. Torrie against Nidia with Sable as ring announcer was fun for the guys. Nidia went over with Sables help. Torrie got revenge by pantsing Nidia. Maybe "fun" if you've been in prison in six years and haven't seen a woman. To most other people, I think "fucking retarded" is more appropo. The Torrie-Nidia series--better or worse than the Rikishi-Demott series?
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted June 8, 2003 I've always wondered, why does Torrie pants here opponents for revenge? It's not as if we haven't seen the divas in skimpy underwear.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted June 8, 2003 I've always wondered, why does Torrie pants here opponents for revenge? It's not as if we haven't seen the divas in skimpy underwear. Because Torrie is a raging closet bisexual who wants to lick honey off the other Divas' asses and then *censored* them with a *censored*. At least her character, that is. Guest MrHell Report post Posted June 8, 2003 Next was a tag match with Rhyno and DeMott against Albert and Crash. DeMott pinned Crash in like 45 seconds. Whatever Oh come on; it should've been obvious that Crash was going to be the job boy in that one. Next up was Jamie Noble and Orlando Jordan. It was a basically a nothing match. Except Noble was just working over the knee. Jordan was selling pretty solod. Plus Noble bumped well for Jordan, and mad him look better than he really is.Noble got him to tap out. Lookee! Noble got his Velocity job back ... on a house show ... Next was O' Haire and Billy Gunn doing the Ass Man Gimmick; complete with DX chops. Gunn got a huge pop. O'Haire went over. Mr. Ass = O'Haire going over = Well, I'm not exactly sure. But hey, at least Billy Gunn wasn't the winner

Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted June 8, 2003 I must say the house show business must be drawing horribly if Austin is any indication. The show drew between 2000-3000 people. Well, looking at the card I am not surprised. I don't think I 'd pay to see that card, except for the Tajiri match.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted June 9, 2003 All of this makes me wonder, should I go to RAW next Monday when they come to Dallas? If a Smackdown house show, which still has the ability to be ten times better than a RAW PPV, is not worth it. But then again, Gail Kim could be there..and if a green womens wrestler from Toronto can make me go to a WWE show, then she is a draw. Don't know where Gail Kim came from there, but yeah... Guest JDMattitudeV1 Report post Posted June 9, 2003 . 7. Next was O' Haire and Billy Gunn THE HORROR! I look at it this way, it they are wrestling each other then they can't stink up any other matches on the card. You're right though, the match was probably "gouge out your eyes rather than watch it "bad. On the subject of Billy's music all I can say is that any song that talks about Billy Gunn picking his ass is not a good thing.
