Guest EMAXSAUN Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I don't mean to be sick or anything, but can Zach wrestle in the Royal Rumble since rules state that both feet much touch the floor?
Guest AndrewTS Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 If we haven't thought about this until now, I guarantee you WWE hasn't. I guess he'll have to wear the prosthetic.
Guest Downhome Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 If we haven't thought about this until now, I guarantee you WWE hasn't. I guess he'll have to wear the prosthetic. Well, technically a few of us discussed this months ago, either before he signed with WWE, or after.
Guest MrHell Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 That's brilliant! Could you imagine the heat he'd get if he came into the Rumble as a heel and couldn't be eliminated due to a loophole in the rules? Of course, it won't happen; I seriously doubt that WWE has the cajones to have him turn on Hogan.
Guest Insane Bump Machine Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 I thought the same thing right when I first saw Gowan: As a heel he would have awesome potential, so of course it won't happen.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Yeah we discussed this a bit ago, I came to the conclusion that if he's wrestling without his prosthetic then his prosthetic would already be on the floor so when his other foot joined it he's gone!
Guest newblood03 Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 That would be fukn hilarious he was a cocky heel saying he couldnt lose the rumble because of a loophole and we would all figure it out during the match and he just kept getting eliminated and coming in and eliminating guys like Nash and HHH.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 What if he comes out without his prosthetic, though?
Guest RickyB Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 Damn, i'd love to see that. If he got eliminated and then dived back in rite as the last one gets eliminated and just tosses him over the top saying that he wasn't eliminated because only one foot had touched the floor.... classic!
Guest Rob Edwards Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 it'd have to be somewhere! as long as it was outside the ring anyway Although if they did an angle where his body went over the top but his prosthtic detached itself and went through the ropes that would be bloody brilliant
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 They'd probably just conveniently change the rules saying once you've touched the floor, you're gone. That's how it used to be in the old days. No one gave a shit about one foot. Once you've hit the floor, Adios!
Adam Posted June 8, 2003 Report Posted June 8, 2003 That is by far the funniest thing Ive heard all day, and I would mark out like a little bitch if it happened
Guest Just call me Dan Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 This would probably lead to an Undertaker squash in the match where he chokeslams him and then grabs the prosthetic and ties it to Zach's limp body and gives him a last ride over the top rope. Gowan=Spike.
Guest DarthLordOfWrestling Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 they might change the rule to 100% of your feet must touch the ground
bobobrazil1984 Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 thats actually a really fun idea for the Rumble, so of course WWE will make sure not to do it.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 This will probably play into a Triple H Rumble promo, acknowledging the net fans. "All those pencilnecks with their little computers and nothing to do all day think Zach Gowan can't be eliminated from the Royal Rumble because he has one leg. *smirks* I guess they never thought about the fact that I am the Game............. and........ I always win!" Seriously, anything that comes up in a big conversation about wrestling he tries to fire upon. Hilarity.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 In theory, anyone can do something like that. If the have the presense of mind as they are going over the top to land flat on their back, all they have to do is stick their feet on the ring apron (or straight in the air)
Gert T Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 In theory, anyone can do something like that. If the have the presense of mind as they are going over the top to land flat on their back, all they have to do is stick their feet on the ring apron (or straight in the air) Yeah I thought that Shannon Moore was actually gonna do that once for Matt Hardy at the Rumble last year; carry Matt back into the ring.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 I didn't know I was scheduled to be in the Rumble. And it's ZacK, not ZacH, thanks. *actually reads posts* Oh shit. *Leaves thread.*
Guest The Decadent Slacker Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 If Gowan can turn it on as a heel & get over, it would be awesome having only 3 legs in a WM main event. He's already got a feud for Brock: he "can't be F5d because he has one leg". yes i know he still can, but look who we're dealing with. i would find any of this great in some respect
Guest Austin3164life Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Zach can show up with the prosthetic on, but use it as a weapon during the Rumble on Nash, and pushing him over the top. HHH tries to help his pal by eliminating Gowen, but according to the rules, Gowen can come back in anytime. He could be Triple H's pest in the next RR, and I would mark out.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Simple way to eliminate him if he doesn't come down with the fake leg. Someone brings a fake leg to beat him with, throws it and him out of the ring. 2 feet hit the floor, even if one wasn't necessarily even his... Oh, and why would HHH be in the Royal Rumble match itself in 2004. He'll be main eventing vs Kevin Nash again or something..
Adam Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 We are dreaming, don't kill the dream for us dude.
Guest Rob Edwards Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 Nah he'll make it a title match circa 92 and enter first thus going over half the roster
Guest croweater Posted June 9, 2003 Report Posted June 9, 2003 HHH- "Hey....... these guy's are saying that if you only have one leg.... you can't be eliminated in a rumble..... and will go over everyone.............. STEPH GET THE SAW!!!!"
