B. Brian Brunzell 0 Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Yep, I finally bought Disintegration from The Cure. I've heard the album many times since its debut in 1989, but hadn't heard it in years. I knew I owed it to myself as a fan of all things music to finally purchase the album. That album is not only one of the best albums of the 1980s, but one of the best I've EVER heard. Every track is spendidly written, and I feel that there's no filler, which is always a plus. The title track sums up the entire album with the best lyrics Robert Smith ever wrote. Please folks, share your opinions on this epic opus.

Guest Slingshot Suplex Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Haven't heard in years but it was really good. Not really a big Cure fan but I'll give them credit for that one.
Guest notJames Report post Posted June 12, 2003 Good choice. It just barely edges out Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me and The Head on the Door as my favourite Cure albums. Speaking of buying older albums, I'm finally replacing my cassette version of the Some Kind of Wonderful soundtrack with a CD version. It's one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard, and by far the best of the John Hughes films.
