Was that meant to happen ?

HOLY SHIT.

I think it was.

Usually when something isn't meant to happen...the announcers either are silent (See Survivor Series 97, IIRC) or, in Smackdown's case, it gets cut out.

yeah but how would they edit that out and then not have an ending? Im wondering if this shit was worked or not

They re-shoot an ending later. They'd have to re-assemble the ring, but other than that detail they've done stuff like that before, even once when the crowd was mostly gone (I think)

I just gotta say I admire the hell outta show for being a 500 pound man and taking that bump. Ring busting or not.

Hey, so was the point of that to show that Big Show is fat? I got that already...

They need to get a different top-rope move other than the stupidplex. Everyone has that move..even the cruisers, and it's pathetic.

Out of all the heinously lethal moves in wrestling, every WWE wrestler just happens to pick the most non-lethal move ever? What is that.

I guess technically a bodyslam is less lethal than a suplex, but Kid Kash's Super Body Slam looks MEGA and Superplexes look, well, eh.

speaking of lame moves, what the hey was the finisher one of the Bashem's used on Benoit? It looked like a cross between a fameasser and a spin kick, if both were fucked up simultaneously.

Show/Brock haven't had a bad match yet. Either TBS stepped up his game, or Brock Lesnar is a lot better than everyone gives him credit for. That ending was unreal.

All that match did was make that weak move "legit"

Now, the last time a "Holy Shit" thing have happend in the brand? Shane Vs Angle, and the glass.

I wonder if they have plans to rig the HIAC ring so that ring and the cage falls...That would be sick, if HHH and Nash bust there butts there, and then that fued goes down like that...perfect ending.

But I have my doubts they would even move...but motivation has one of the reasons HHH wants his title legit over, and he will do anything to get it done. Even risking his carrer to do so.

So overall, what did you guys think of the show? I liked it, the Mr. America stuff didn't make me hurl, the cruiser title is being positioned better, looks like Benoit is getting set up for a heel turn, and Angle is bona-fide face. The only things that bothered me was that Angle & O-Haire look to be getting set up as tag challengers, but if its a one time thing ill let it pass.

As an aside, I cannot believe Scott Keith threw in a little bitch that they didn't promote the Raw PPV. Everyone barks about keeping the brands seperate, and when they do he seems aghast.

It was an alright show.....cool finish.

I kind of like how they ended the past 2 smackdowns.

Ending the Matt/Rey fued with the babyface going over..which seems very much deserved.

And with a crazy bump that we have no idea the outcome may be.

btw, Lin-Shaniqua is TONED.

The girl has like 2% body fat. She still has that odd walk that most female basketball players have.

OK what are they going to do with Zach G.? Either they turn him into a reluctant heel to get his contract, or Mr. America starts getting a little masked partner to run with him (call him The Gimp for all I care. Besides the Tarantino reference, it's tasteless enough for WWE). My guess is choice 2 in a week or two.

Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but i didnt want to start a new topic JUST for this point.

Everybody watched the ring collapse, did anybody notice how well Show took the superplex? I thought it was better than most of todays cruisers, but that's just me.
