Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted June 13, 2003 I just grabbed As the Palaces Burn, by Lamb of God, but haven't got the chance to listen to it. I also bought Slayer's mandatory double live album Decade of Aggression for the third time. The first was stolen, and the second copy was annihilated through much usage and transport. Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted June 13, 2003 The Les Claypool Frog Brigade - Purple Onion ~! Also, regarding that Lamb of God cd..it's fucking wicked. If you're into that whole sound including but not limited to guys like Devin Townsend, Shadows Fall, God Forbid, et al, then you'll probably fuckin' love this cd. Think SYL, only heavier and better. Guest Spicy McHaggis Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Sing Loud, Sing Proud- Dropkick Murphys Kick ass. I got Jack Johnson's "On and On" a month ago. I absolutely love it. My most recent purchase was the live Dispatch album, "Gut The Van". I was not impressed. Anyone know if their studio albums are better?
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Depends on what you mean by better. If you want overly sentimental jam-band college rock, they're one of the better ones in that genre. I'm not particularly a fan, but the studio albums are well-produced and crisp if nothing else. Latest acquisitions for me: The Blueprint, Aquemini, Stankonia, Exile on Main Street, A Hard Day's Night, and Hail to the Thief. I've had quite a run lately. Guest BAR Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Garage Inc is enjoyable. My 9th favourite out of the Metallica 10. The only stuff I've got lately is St. Anger and Number Of The Beast (Finally). I've got Live Shit: Binge & Purge on order, hopefully I'll get it tomorrow. I'm going out of town tommorow so I'll hopefully pick something up. Maybe Animals by Floyd. Guest Matt Young Report post Posted June 13, 2003 I mostly just burn CD's, but I bought Metallica's St. Anger about a week ago. The last discs I picked up before that were The Ataris' So Long, Astoria and AFI's Sing the Sorrow right after they were released in late March/early April.
