Guest NCJ Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Okay here me out on this. The WWE has really been trying to get their major matches over with some kind of unexpected finish lately. Like Brock trying for the SSP and Piper returning at WMXIX, Big Show injuring Rey while straped to a strecther, the ending of Big Show and Brock strecther match at the last PPV, and Brock and Big Show ending at Smackdown. Seeing this recent trend and the overall aparrent suckiness of this ppv something somewhat big has to happen at the PPV to not totally disappoint fans. Forget Nash or HHH taking a big bump, and for that matter I can't see Foley taking a tumble of the top of the Cell, he is just to old. So what can they do. If you look at the way Kane has been shown loosing his fire, and the fact that he debuted at Bad Blood one possible storyline is that Kane dosen't really show up and lets RVD defend the titles by himself. This leaves fans wondering what is going on. After it is long forgotten by the Main Event Nash has HHH beat, but Foley is bumped the music hits the pyro goes off and out come Kane through Hellfire and Brimstone. Rips the door off the hinges plants Nash with a Tombstone or Chokeslam and leaves. This gives Nash somewhere to go after he jobs to HHH and it finally gives Kane and RVD something else to do. Guest INXS Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Maybe Kane will become Triple H's enforcer?
Guest OnlyMe Report post Posted June 13, 2003 This sounds like a Kane push. Bwahahaha! No, it's a bad idea, since they have spent three years moving Kane away from his 97-99 persona.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Kane could light Nash's hair on fire. I bet Nash could manage to run..to the nearest hair salon to get it fixed..and then he'd fued with Kane.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted June 13, 2003 I don't really like this idea because it isn't very logical. Why would he interfere in the HIAC? Why wouldn't he just turn on his partner to turn heel?
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Someone assure me that this isn't a Kane push.
Guest INXS Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Because it's HIAC between Triple H and Nash. It has to be over booked to save the match.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Someone assure me that this isn't a Kane push. AS, sorry, but it is. See, Kane is big. And according to WWE, he gets a reaction (It's not RVD's heat, it's all Kane. Yeah, that's right!)
Guest Nanks Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Kane used to get a big reaction. Get off the broken record hoss hate, his character's just gone shit and boring. I liked monster Kane, and he's sure as hell better than fuckin' Nash. Face it, RVD does not work ME style and his character has no personality, stoner doesn't count. He is destined for the IC and Tag title divisions, stop whining about it.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted June 13, 2003 God people are so stupid... Kane is going to interfere in the HITC match because he's jealous of Nash... Kane was the fake diesel and therefore has some strange obsession with Big Daddy Cool. I mean, ever since Nash arrived in the promotion Kane has been a lil messed up... COINCIDENCE?! I think not. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Has everyone forgotten something about this whole thing? Think about it...the Pay Per View is Bad Blood... There's a Hell in the Cell match on the card... Kane's turning into a monster again... They're trying to re-live Kane's arrival (as Kane) at this year's Bad Blood! Murmuring Beast 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2003 I would mark for that angle for sheer joke value. Raw Scored a 1.3 rating this week, with Kane vs Kevin Nash in the main-event. Vince McMahon answered internet critics by adding more wrestling to the show and so made the match a 60 minute iron man challenge. After a quad tear in the opening minute from Nash, several commercial breaks were added to stall for time. The locker rooms were cleared in an attempt to detract from the awful in ring action, but a mass walk-out signalled the end of the broadcast.

I actually like Kane to, so I'm not hoss-hating, as you like to call it. BUt as of right now, whether it's his fault or not, he's not getting a reaction, RVD is. When Kane was facing one of the French guys (I think Renee, but I might be wrong) the fans were chanting for RVD...and he wasn't even in the match! And what the hell is main event style? Brawling? If it is, I'm sure a change of pace would be welcome. And if the fans, you know, actually like him, why not give him a push? I'm sick of people without a reaction getting a push. The worst part is that they also suck in the ring, unless that is what you call main event style. I've got a solution; why not put them (by them I mean RVD and Kane) in a feud and if they are both over, but them in the main events again! If Kane isn't over by then with a monster gimmick, keep him out of there.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Kane used to get a big reaction. And I used to watch Sesame Street before I would head off to Kindergarten. How does something so obviously and admittedy in the past affect us now?
Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted June 13, 2003 Someone assure me that this isn't a Kane push. Of course there is going to be a Kane push. Goldberg has to feud with someone when he takes the title off of HHH at Summerslam! :: reads what he just wrote, locks himself in classic wrestling panic room and cries ::
Guest Nanks Report post Posted June 13, 2003 He was over with his old monster gimmick, not whatever he's trying to do these days. Few people are able to work fast enough to keep up well with RVD's flipping all over the place, and face it, he's a little sloppy, you don't crush someone's trachea performing your finish, even if it is HHH. Kane has a better moveset than he's been allowed to use and his Hellfire & Brimstone monster gimmick was over. And AS, did you like Kane's gimmick because you were young or because it was interesting?? The Sesame Street analogy really isn't relevant

Adam 0 Report post Posted June 13, 2003 I am one of the few people out there that like Kane. *ducks* I am looking foward to him coming back in his new gimmick, it will be interesting to see what they can do with him. Although I would much rather see RVD in the ME, Kane would be good too. As one or two of you has said, he is alot better than bloody Nash.
