Adam 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Not at all, everyone be happy, Goldberg can go home.
Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted June 15, 2003 "WWE creative is now officialy worse than WCW." It looks like HHH maybe the one throwing the party. Man, I was wondering if he'd be able to avoid "the sure thing" of losing to Goldberg. Before I thought he'd be doing good if he somehow managed to go one for two against Goldberg. If only HHH used his powers for the forces of good and not evil.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Is it wrong of me to be happy that WWE is screwing up Goldberg? No it isn't. However, it still won't lead to any positive changes or new hirees.

Guest INXS Report post Posted June 15, 2003 I think Triple H is trying to prove what he has said numerous for the last few years in interviews. Goldberg is a flash in the pan One more thing, Triple H has done one Hell of a job of getting me to chear him on this whole year so far. He really is a genius. Triple H/Steiner fued; I wanted Triple H to win Triple H/Booker T fued; I wanted Triple H to win (Sorry, I don't like Booker) Triple H/Nash; Triple H all the way and coming up in the future Triple H/Goldberg; Goldberg sucks and won't draw in the WWE. Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Triple H/Goldberg; Goldberg sucks and won't draw in the WWE. It's pretty hard to draw when you're treated as midcard act, and not booked properly.
Guest INXS Report post Posted June 15, 2003 No matter what, Goldberg always comes off with an attitude problem and a chip on his shoulder. If WWE did push him to the moon, the fans would turn on him quick. This isn't WcW. I'm sure you guys have seen Goldberg try to play the heel role. It's not pretty. Goldberg = Flop
Adam 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2003 I can see what you mean with the midcard reference, with him going against 3MW, but then again he did beat The Rock.
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted June 15, 2003 If WWE had pushed Goldberg properly, as a monster who didn't sell, lose or do 'comedy', fans would have gotten behind him as a monster. Instead, he was WWE-ised, and turned into just another big dude And yes, he beat The Rock, but the match went about 9 minutes too long, and exposed Goldberg. You don't expose someone who you are trying to turn into a draw.
Adam 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Yes but if it had of been a squash Rock's popularity would have been a little tainted.
Guest NoSelfWorth Report post Posted June 15, 2003 Yes but if it had of been a squash Rock's popularity would have been a little tainted. Horse hockey. The Rock is practically bulletproof. He's done jobs to almost everyone on the roster, and is still super over and a draw. Plus, he was leaving right away, so it would have been forgotten by most people by the time he came back to wrestle full time between movies.

Let me ask you this. Except for Rey Mysterio (who's over not only with the smart marks because of his ring work, but with the kids because he's small, wears a mask like a super hero and he does flashy moves) who since the WWF invasion has really got over with the WWE crowd? Everyone I can think of has been a flop or has been threading water. WWE has made WcW "Super Stars" look weak time after time. People aren't going to take to Goldberg. Their going to turn on him no matter what WWE does with him.
