Billy Gunn blows up at about the 4 or 5 minute mark, guaranteed, in a singles match.

 

That's why hes getting less than that now. Hopefully it stays that way.

Wow, they had one of the best looking belts in the WCW US Title and instead replaced it with the most godawful piece of shit that I've ever seen... but enough about Steph, that title looks horrible too.

Cena has charisma, has a fresh gimmick (well, he makes it fresh), and despite being a heel is getting face pops. Like him or not, you can't argue with the fact he's getting face pops as a heel, so he must be doing something right.

I like Cena, but right now he's Val Venis circa 1998-2000. He gets pops for his raps (which like Venis's pre-match spiels have OMG SEXUAL INNUENDO), but there's nothing notable about his wrestling. And for all that charisma, he blew his shot for the big time at Backlash, and THAT is most likely why he's had more than one Velocity stop since then (and Benoit has yet to make his debut on that show), and his most decisive wins since that April night have been against friggin' Spanky and Funaki.

I never once said I loved Billy Gunn or A-Train's as wrestlers, but was sick of people slagging them off day in and day out and decided to defend them.

Regarding A-Train, at least he had enough grey matter to think "oh, I'm facing Benoit tonight, I should make myself look watchable", like so many before him, and since.

 

Gunn wasn't even smart enough to think that. Then again bimbos don't think that much aside from "do I look hot in this?"

I don't know what he should've done with Gunn.....lay around in chin locks so that Gunn can catch his breath?
