I know they want t&a out there every second of the show, but it takes way too much away from the workers. Billy Gunn...I think it's hysterical that the last time we saw him he was doing the gimmick with Chuck. And so what do they do next? They put him with a female RIGHT AWAY! It's almost like they're trying to make you forget as soon as possible the gay angle they cooked up for him. And you could see it coming. Now I loved Liz in her role, she didn't do anything to take the Heat off Randy. If you're going to do it that's the way to go.

They think they're getting a guy over by pairing him with boobs, but actually he's getting less reaction for himself.

"If the fans love Torrie, they'll love Billy Gunn by default since he's with her and they'll think he's cool!" That reminds me, why are all the WWE women programmed as such sluts. Think of how many men they've been with over the span of just 3 or 4 years. Torrie Wilson: David Flair, Billy Kidman, Shane Douglas, Vince Mcmahon, Tajiri, Maven, Dawn Marie (!), Billy Gunn. Stacy Kiebler: Sean Stasiak, David Flair (how does he get so much play?), Vince Mcmahon (again) Dudley Boys, Test, Scott Steiner... Who knows how many for Terri and I think Im forgetting some for the previous 2. The more you think about it the more disturbing it is.

Actually, the Torrie/Billy pairing is a rare instance of WWE continuity. After the wedding fiasco, the "straight again and proud of it" Billy and Chuck were hitting on Torrie in commentary, and I think even saved her at one point (from Tajiri and Noble possibly, as I vaguely remember a tag match with those two teams). Doesn't mean I like Gunn any more (or Torrie any less, ) but it does make sense in an otherwise crappily booked product.

The angle they were playing out was all well and good, but I thought this thread was about feeling that Gunn NEEDS to be with a woman. Pillman didn't need anyone, because he got over on his own merits, mainly because he truly was an off the wall psycho.

Someone gives him a magic singlet that triples his moveset and gives him better endurance. The singlet also gives him the ability to do career-ending submission holds, but he lost the instructions as to how to put the hold on.
