Favorite live performance

I was watching Mania 17 on DVD again this afternoon, and it made me realize how awesome Motorhead's preformance was. I've forgotten all about it, but I used to be obsessed with it and had it on loop on my playlist for months. And not to mention I still liked HHH back then, and it was really cool seeing the visuals of his entrance as well.

I thought the D-X band did a pretty good job at WM 14.

It has to go to HHH's WM17 by default. There hasn't been that many live performances of entrance themes to compare with.

Yeah, Motorhead's performance was pretty good at X7. Triple H also had Drowning Pool play his theme at Wrestlemania X8, which I thought was awful. I was there in person and it was horrible to say the least. Also on that show, Saliva performed the Dudley Boyz theme and that was acceptable, considering the band and the song.

 

But what other performances were there? I remember Salt'N Pepa performed at Wrestlemania XI, singing "Whatta Man" for Lawrence Taylor, if that counts. Also the DX band did a decent job at Wrestlemania XIV and Summerslam 98. This year at XIX, Fred Durst and Co. did an 'old school' Undertaker's "Rollin'" theme. But other than that, I'm kinda stumped.

 

Seems to me like Wrestlemania is the place for the live performances..

Insane Clown Posse played the Oddities down to their match at Summerslam 1998.

 

Union Underground at RAW.

 

Fozzy on RAW.

 

Motley Crue on RAW and HEAT (the debut of Test.)

 

Kid Rock on RAW (w/ Joe C. costing Edge and Christian their tag titles).

 

 

 

 

My pick: Motorhead at X-7.

My favorites are HHH with Motorhead at WM X7, HHH with DX Band at Summerslam 98, and Jericho with Saliva at Survivor Series 2002 (although they played from The World) The funniest part about Jericho's entrance on that night was that he walked directly into the ring and into his chamber, leaving Saliva to play for an extra minute or two while he just stood around and felt the cage.

Most definatly the best two were Saliva with King Of My World, and Motorhead for HHH's which i'm actually listening to at this very moment strangely enough.

You know what, I might honestly have to pick that one as my favorite.

 

That was a cool moment, and I got a soft spot for the bag pipes. If that is not acceptable, I guess DX band from WM 14.
