Guest RollingSambos Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Kevin Nash has now officially joined RVD, Kane, and HBK in Ex-HHH Opponent Hell. All four of these guys have worked main event programs with Trips, and then been shunted straight down to the mid-card like yesterday's garbage after jobbing to him. Notice that if somebody actually beats Trips, the feud is NOT over...but if Trips wins, then it's history. I guess it makes sense that they are pairing Nash with HBK and making him a tag team wrestler...after all, this isn't the first time that they've taken a big hoss that was buried by HHH (Kane) and paired him with an athletic, charismatic worker that was also screwed by HHH (RVD). Now all they need to do is give Goldberg a shot at Trips so that he can start tagging with Jericho immediately.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 The only difference with HBK and RVD is that they were sent to ex-opponent hell, but still have a semblance of overness. Nash never had that going for him. He's more or less in "My friend couldn't get me over so I'm biding my time until I put Nowinski over" hell.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 It's not like anybody will be shedding any tears for Nash. Also, you should have put Booker's name on that list, too.
Guest Si82 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Don't forget Scott Steiner. I don't like the guy but he was busted down to the mid-card, and rightly so, after his feud with Triple H ended.
Guest edotherocket Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Personally, I'm still holding out hope that Nash gets fed up and leaves.
Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Why would Nash get fed up of earning a reported $600k minimum to 'wrestle'?
Guest notJames Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 I'm waiting for Quad III: The Wreckoning myself…
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 HHHell, Current Population: Bubba Dudley, Rob Van Dam, Kane (2X!), Shawn Michaels, Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, Booker T. Hall of Fame Inductee: Chris Jericho.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Who's next? Get it? Because Goldberg is most likely next on HHH's list.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Who's next? Get it? Because Goldberg is most likely next on HHH's list. I get it! I'm so clevor
Guest The Old Me Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Maybe by keeping the dead weight loser HHH opponents below (i.e. Nash, Bubba), RVD and Booker can rise to the top of the HHH's trash heap!
Guest Choken One Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Goldberg, Orton....wow. Those are the only to that are left to kill HHH... I like Goldberg's chances of "Bret"izing HHH...
Lil' Bitch Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 HHHell, Current Population: Bubba Dudley When was that? And should Flair be added to that list? Ric not only jobbed once, but twice!
Guest Dangerous A Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 HHHell, Current Population: Bubba Dudley When was that? And should Flair be added to that list? Ric not only jobbed once, but twice! Bubba doesn't count. He was never given a ppv match with HHH and then buried. Plus Bubba was dead and buried long before HHH got his mittens on him on regular TV. Pretty soon, there won't be any faces left to challenge for the title and they'll start to turn heels into faces just to have opponents for the bastard. Soon enough, ratings and buyrates will take a steep dive and Vince will have no choice but to force HHH to put someone over. That will never happen. Vince is too fucking stupid and far gutless to stop it. Oh well.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Bubba damn well counts. He was the wrestler who was "leading the revolt" against HHH - he botched a table spot in one match - and was never heard from again.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Whoops, wrong thread... HBK and Nash will still get high profile tag matches.
Guest MARTYEWR Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 HHHell, Current Population: Bubba Dudley, Rob Van Dam, Kane (2X!), Shawn Michaels, Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, Booker T. Hall of Fame Inductee: Chris Jericho. Survivor: Kurt Angle
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Does anyone else think Randy Orton will be the next World Champion? Not anytime soon, but within the next 18 months. I'm not counting a potential 1-day title reign by Foley.
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 No Rudo, he's wrong. Angle didn't survive.
Guest OnlyMe Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 Does anyone else think Randy Orton will be the next World Champion? Not next, but I think it's only a matter of time. Nik
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted June 24, 2003 Report Posted June 24, 2003 HHHell, Current Population: Bubba Dudley, Rob Van Dam, Kane (2X!), Shawn Michaels, Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash, Booker T. Hall of Fame Inductee: Chris Jericho. Survivor: Kurt Angle Good thing he's not in the same population as God's Master.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Survivor: Kurt Angle Angle survived? Yes and no. Kurt Angle Vs. HHH scoreboard (from what I can remember singles wise) Unforgiven 2000 - HHH won Royal Rumble 2001 - Angle won No Way Out 2002 - Angle won RAW the night after NWO - HHH won HHH - 2, Angle - 2 Thank God, Angle went to SD. They haven't fought singles wise since.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Angle was the first 2002 occupant of HHHell. After the HHH feud, with the exception of a little june and a little July (and how "main event" that is is debatable.), spent the next TEN MONTHS in the midcard. He's the only one to recover, thugh.
Guest RollingSambos Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Well, there's no one left on RAW to beat HHH. On the other hand...the pop is gonna be sick when Rocky beats him at XX.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 I don't think he has recovered fully. Angle should have broken up Steph and HHH - that would have made him a bigger heel. Instead he lost that feud and went on to a weak title reign - one that was upstaged by the Austin/HHH feud (which ended when Angles title reign ended - funny). Angle's heel character hasn't really changed since his feud with HHH back in the Summer of 2000.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Angle was the first 2002 occupant of HHHell. After the HHH feud, with the exception of a little june and a little July (and how "main event" that is is debatable.), spent the next TEN MONTHS in the midcard. He's the only one to recover Damn right, he recovered. Angle lived his dream of finally headlining WM instead of Gonzo doing it again. (Who would have thought Angle would do it when one year ago he was in a feud with Kane?) So overall, Angle got the last laugh. But even as a mid-carder, he had outstanding matches so while HHH screwed him at first, Angle finally came back and won the big one again. NWO 2002 - def. HHH WM 18 - def. Kane Backlash - def. Edge Judgment Day - lost to Edge and also his hair KOTR - def. Hulk Hogan Vengeance - lost to the Rock SummerSlam - def. Rey Mysterio in his debut PPV match Unforgiven - lost to Chris Benoit No Mercy - def. Edge & Rey Mysterio, Benoit was his partner Survivor Series - lost to Edge & Rey Mysterio Armageddon - def. The Big Show (won the WWE Championship)
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 I don't think he has recovered fully. The build up to his return basically made him a main eventer. Each week after that has brought him lower. So at this point, he's no better than he was earlier in the year. But he WAS real high until he opened his mouth for the first time
Lil' Bitch Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Instead he lost that feud and went on to a weak title reign Weak? He had the title for 4 months, if anything was weak, it was that sham of a reign in late 2001.
