Guest tpww7 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Kurt Angle suffered a reoccurrence of his hamstring injury from Wrestlemania in last night's six-man tag, which explains why he got out of there before the post-match. No word on the severity. I was given the impression it's not serious, but with Angle, unless it's a full blown tear, he's going to play it down anyway. Edit- Credit Meltzer
Guest Steviekick Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 I still don't understand why Kurt came back so quickly. Yeah, I know this is only a reoccuring leg injury, but with the severity of his injuries he was warranted more time off. He shouldn't have come back till Summerslam-ish

Perhaps he did it......because, i dont know, he loves the business. It's his LIFE. He should have taken more time off though
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 So if Angle’s hurt and Brock’s hurt, does this mean the ME for Vengeance is Show v. Hogan?
Murmuring Beast Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 In a really manly way, I love Kurt Angle.

So, he came back from a career threatening injury months early the so creative team could resume shitting all over him, and now he's hurt AGAIN! JUST LEAVE IT KURT. They don't respect you at ALL, so it's not worth killing yourself over. Just retire.
Guest HartFan86 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 I had a near heart attack when I read the title of this thread. Thank god it's not TOO severe. ... Watch Angle retire cause of this. ... ... ...and I'm leaving now.
Guest HartFan86 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 ...Okay, I'm back. Someone has to make the obvious "I tore my hamstring this morning" joke.
Guest The Old Me Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Damn it. Everyone- enjoy Angle's greatness all you can. It may not last much longer, if these injuries keep up.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 HartFan86 Posted on Jun 25 2003, 01:51 PM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...Okay, I'm back. Someone has to make the obvious "I tore my hamstring this morning" joke. And get killed and eaten by a ravenous horde of Angle followers? No thanks. Kurt should have stayed out way longer than he did. I think it was already mentioned here, but he let his love of his work to blind him to the fact that he is lowering his quality of life considerably each day.
Guest HartFan86 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 I'd like to see what Karen is thinking. She must be ripped shit because I doubt she wants her baby girl growing up to a crippled father.
LooseCannon25 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 the fucked up part about is it that Angle is still rpetty young....isnt he only like 32 or something. Even if you're not a fan of his you gotta feel for all these damn injuries he's had.

I wouldn't mind if he said he was putting his body through this strictly for the money. But for him to say that he's doing this to himself for the company due to his love of the business, and then watch Vince and Co. piss all over him, UGH. I hope Karen gets him to quit.

Uuuum......I dont think he's been used in the best way.....but, lets not exxagerate now. Cmon, piss all over him? Guys that are getting pissed on are Lance Storm, Steven Richards, Booker T, and RVD. Angle is not getting pissed on. The guy just came back like 3 weeks ago, did you think he was already gonna win the title?
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 The guy just came back like 3 weeks ago, did you think he was already gonna win the title? I sure ss fuck didn't think he'd be booked as the weak link of the face side. I thought they'd repay him by making him look SOMEWHAT COMPETANT. If he's gonna put his body through hell for THIS, then it's not worth it

They need to have Brock beatdown and have Angle clean house for a few weeks in a row now. To be honest though, i can't stand Angle as a face. He doesnt have the same cockiness and humor as when hes a heel
Lil' Bitch Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 So if Angle’s hurt and Brock’s hurt, does this mean the ME for Vengeance is Show v. Hogan? A ghost from Hogan's past (Andre) is coming back to haunt him in the form of Big Show. Anyway, I hope Kurt toughs it out so he can make it to Vengeance. I can't wait for the Angle / Lesnar rematch.
Guest AndrewTS Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 So there's officially, like, no hope for SD now.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 So there's officially, like, no hope for SD now. Angle will wrestle though it. Like he always does. And creative will repay him by almost kind of letting him get the upperhand on someone

O'Haire still isn't over. they "need" to put him over Angle. Or something.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 You'll all be happy to know that it doesn't look like the injury is serious enough to make him miss any time. Just a minor flare up.
