Guest edge007 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 SO just who can stop him, out of the current RAW roster? Booker T has been delt with. As has Jericho. As has Kane. As has RVD. As has Steiner. As has Nash. I'm tending to think Goldberg (shudder ) He's just about the only person HHH HASN'T buried...I can't really think of anybody else... So who do you think will eventually score the title off HHH?
Guest bob_barron Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Well Goldberg is on the outs with management and doesn't seem to be able to make it through a PPV match without getting booed. Rico is getting a push though...
Murmuring Beast Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Stephanie is the only man that can stop Triple H.
Guest edge007 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Stephanie is the only man that can stop Triple H. SO TRUE!
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Faces don't make good transitional champs.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 A quad tear...nothing more. -he SHOULD have jobbed to RVD last October -he SHOULD have put over Booker at Mania -he SHOULD have lost the belt as opposed to killing Kane's entire gimmick I hate HHH. And I use to be a big fan. But it looks like shit when you bury everyone more over then you and don't job to belt to anyone but your friend. But what SHOULD happen in the WWE never seems to.
Internet Warfare Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 RVD. He would make a great chamo but cant put the asses in seats.
Guest MillenniumMan831 Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 When HHH dies, Booker T will probably be the next champ. IF HHH EVER passes the torch to anybody young (500-1 odds), it'll probably be Randy Orton.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 RVD. He would make a great chamo but cant put the asses in seats. Well...the product has been in the shitter with HHH as champ...
Murmuring Beast Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 RVD would probably thing chamo was some sort of drug. Sorry guys, I'm on poor form tonight.
Guest Dangerous A Posted June 25, 2003 Report Posted June 25, 2003 Vince McMahon is the one who can stop him. If Vince could get his head out of his ass and see that the Raw brand would benefit from some new blood on top instead of people being fed to HHH, Raw might actually be passable. Vince is the one who can stop him. It begins and ends with Vince. If he wanted, he could have HHH job to bullshit guys like Hurricane or Nowinski. (not a smart business move, but Vince could do it if he so pleases)
Guest Polish_Rifle Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 When HHH dies, Booker T will probably be the next champ. IF HHH EVER passes the torch to anybody young (500-1 odds), it'll probably be Randy Orton. He'll just have Orton move up the card by beating all the aforementioned and then squash him like a bug.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 -he SHOULD have lost the belt as opposed to killing Kane's entire gimmick . Ugh. No World champ Kane
Lil' Bitch Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 HHH wouldn't job to a clone of himself! According to the latest rumors, it turns out HHH brings transvestites home with him and that he likes to wear Stephanie's thongs.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Don't forget Triple H's "lesser" victims: Bubba Ray, Hurricane, Goldust, Maven, etc.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 -he SHOULD have lost the belt as opposed to killing Kane's entire gimmick . Ugh. No World champ Kane I'd take Rodney Mack as champ over a memeber of the Clique
Cherry Blossom Viscount Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 HHH's "Victims" Kane - Yes, at that time it would have been a nice reign. His character is DOA now. RVD - If this was 2001, yes, I would agree. Now, no way, jose. Steiner - HHH was getting face heat against the guy. He's pretty bad in the ring. Booker T. - Yes. Nash - No way.
Guest CanadianChris Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 I'd say Jericho -- looking at it, he's the only one who's even close -- but he'd just get the "not worthy to be a contender" treatment, à la Booker T. I think they're going to have to bring someone over from Smackdown -- maybe Angle.
Guest Vyce Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 The pendulum has swung for me. I now actively want Goldberg as champ over HHH. Yes. My HHHate is that strong.
Guest Adrian 3:16 Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 RVD. He would make a great chamo but cant put the asses in seats. I agree and disagree on that one. To be a great champ, by definition you have to put asses in the seats. I like RVD, but realistically he's not really world champ material (insert obvious HHHate joke here) as popular as he may be. Plus HHH would never allow it even if RVD actually did get the push. Ditto with Goldberg. The only choice I can see as actually happening at this point, ironically enough is, Jericho. HHH's inaguaral victim has finally come full circle and seems to once again be as over as he was pre-undisputed title. Plus HHH and Jericho seem to actually get along now (common enemy?) and management seems to not have been going out of their way to castrate Jericho in every way possible like last year. There's also the outside chance Foley could win the upset at SummerSlam, but would either promptly job the belt right back or retire (again) and set up the cliched tournament idea. But I wouldn't bank on that. My conclusion... SAVE US JERICHO!
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Edge. And that's about it... in the whole company... *HHH and Steph are in bed* HHH: Uh, Honey? Steph: Yes sweetie? HHH: I just wanted to say that I love you. Steph: Well, I love you too. HHH: You're doin a real great job with the writing. Steph: Gosh, you think so? HHH: Oh yeah, really great stuff. And your performance has been top notch - you should try to get into hollywood. Steph: Well I have been secretly thinking about it... HHH: Yeah you would be fantastic -leading lady for sure - if only... Steph: If only... what? HHH: Nothing, something I heard the guys saying, just, just forget about it... Steph: What is it? What did they say? HHH: Pumpkindoodle, you know I love you. You know I think you're beautiful and talented and smart and.. Steph: What did they say? Tell me. HHH: Well I heard Edge talking to someone, I think it was Jericho, and he made some off-hand remark about your weight... Steph: *Gasp* HHH: I know, it pissed me off too, and hearing that Jericho laugh and seeing that Edge smirk - it felt like they were just raping you...verbally, that is... I was about to go kick their asses but Patterson saw me watching them and stepped in. It was horrible baby, they're lies, lies I tell you... aw, don't worry about it. You're beautiful... Don't botch Edges return because of some silly lil thing like that... Ok sweetie... Night Night...
Guest Dangerous A Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 I'll just reiterate that Vince McMahon could have HHH lose to whoever he pleases. You guys need to quit thinking that anyone is going to come along and just beat HHH on merit and overness alone. You need to get on Vince's good side to even think about going over on HHH. It's Vince folks. This discussion should be about Vince, not who HHH lets beat him. It's Vince who is the reason that HHH has had the Raw title for so long. He could've said that any one of the guys that have challenged HHH in the last 8 months is going over, but Vince is convinced (some through HHH, no doubt) that feeding guys to HHH and having them chase him and not go over is the right thing for business. It's Vince's decision to keep things this way that effect you guys. You can HHHate all you want, but until the dark lord himself, Vince McMahon, decides the time is up, you are all banging your heads against a wall. I'll troll out the Vince hate until some of you start getting it.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 It's Vince folks. This discussion should be about Vince, not who HHH lets beat him. It's Vince who is the reason that HHH has had the Raw title for so long. No surprise reading that since HHH is gonna be Vince's son-in-law in a few months. And no matter what happens, my sig says it all.
Guest Dangerous A Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Regardless if HHH is gonna be his son in law or not, if Vince doesn't want HHH to be champ, then he won't be champ. It's as simple as that. Blame Vince.
Lil' Bitch Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 I officially dub the World Heavyweight Title "The HHH Memorial Belt"
Guest Danny Dubya v 2.0 Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Well, what things would need to happen before Vince is convinced that feeding guys to HHH to make them look "good" but never have them hold the belt is not the answer? He obviously isn't listening to fans at all. And still believes that HHH = ratings. Is there any way it can hit him on the head?
Guest CanadianChris Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Is there any way it can hit him on the head? Is there any way a falling piano could hit him on the head?
Guest Dangerous A Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Unfortunately I don't see that one "thing" hitting Vince in the head for awhile. It would have to take a huge dive in business (as if that hasn't happened already) for it to hit Vince and maybe even then, who knows. Probrably something catastrophic to the company's well being such as Viacom throwing them off of the air. If WWE were to lose TV, they'd be extinct faster than you'd know it. Unfortunately, after the numbers came out last week that WWE has around $320 Million in cash on hand to burn as they please, it could take a few years for things to drastically change. Vince is a very stubborn man and will go down in flames before he gives in to someone, even if they are right. Hell, he took a multimillion dollar angle (the Invasion) and flushed it down the toilet just to prove to himself he was the superior product out in the wrestling market. You are better off wishing injury upon HHH than waiting for Vince.
Gert T Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Goldberg will lose to HHH at Summerslam and then beat him at the Raw PPV Unforgiven, and injure HHH, he will miss the rest of September and October for his wedding. In the meantime the ratings will probably tank because Goldberg has already beat two of the top heels on Raw Christian and Jericho, so there won't be a lot of viewer intrigue. HHH will come back, and if ratings are down will win the title back at Survivor Series. Ratings will go up .1 and HHH will once again enjoy another long reign. Just like Hogan in WCW in 99-00, leave and then come back to "pop" the ratings.
Guest Dangerous A Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Actually, ratings will tank if Goldberg is on top because WWE has screwed up his presentation. If presented correctly, wrestlers can mean more to people and become draws. (write that down)
