Guest JacK Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Like, does anyone know what material it's made out of, or where I could get one? Cause it's such a cool looking coat! It looks like it's made out of some sort of plasticy polymery thing, but I have no idea what type. Can anyone help me? Please?
Guest Choken One Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Plasticy Polymery? There's a new one... Leather...So I thought... I dunno, Ask Kotz; our resident fashion expert.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Pleather You would wear that in public? This is almost as bad as Spoon and the damned Napoleon jackets
Guest mickberna Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Perhaps you should email him, and maybe he'll address it in his next Edgeucation. I think it's just cheap vinyl, though, made by the WWE costume department.
Guest JacK Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 That's a good idea! Is the email address easily found on the site? PS where is his commentary; on the WWE site (I haven't been paying much attention to the WWE lately; what with being an Aussie and all . . . )
Guest Choken One Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 ^ I have a feeling that the coat comes from Adam Copeland's Personal Wardrobe rather...Just a hunch...because WWE would stick the EDGE logo on the back...
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 because WWE would stick the EDGE logo on the back... Last I checked, they did.
Guest mach7 Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 It's PVC. And you can get one at any of those lame-ass "goth" clothing stores. Prepare to pay out your ass though. Oh, and also prepare to be laughed at by the rest of the population when you wear it out in public. Don't worry. You'll deserve it.

Last I checked they only made generic tights and clothing for really specific WWE-ized gimmicks [La Resistance, Kane's mask, etc]. A lot of guys like Edge, RVD, HBK get their stuff made by third party designers.
Guest Quik Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Like, does anyone know what material it's made out of? Dead puppies. It's a swank new material from overseas. Damned European fashions.

I know RVD has his own personal Designer but HBK's tights were made by the same chick who designed Taker's Goth outfits...Her name was Jenny.
LooseCannon25 Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 Doesn't Droz's wife design all of the wrestlers outfits now?
Guest CanadianChick Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 To answer the orginal question, I believe it's vinyl.
syxx2001 Posted June 26, 2003 Report Posted June 26, 2003 i would have said patent leather. or however you spell it.

Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Honestly JacK, buy a real leather jacket, and not this cheap PVC shit you'd be likely to find at Hot Topic (or any other store where fat goths hang out). You'd be paying just as much either way, considering the way those stores charge an extraordinary amount of cash for their stuff.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 He's right. It looks flimsy, and I doubt you're handsome enough to pull it off, unlike ol' Edge. I mean, me and my friend bought these awesome bomber jackets with the money we made from selling Zap! candy bars. Well, my brother actually ended up selling it for us, so we had to get him one too, even though he's just a little kid. go ask a goth to make you one I think they probably buy them. For instance, I like toast ... but that doesn't mean I make it.
Guest JacK Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Yes . . . your probably right, although a leather one wouldn't be that good, cause I'm nowhere near big enough to stop people from trying to beat the crud out of me and take it, Although I can hold my own against people my size, but being a 65kg 17yo that doesn't mean much See, my reasoning was, no one would want to take some piece of junk polymer thing, leaving me unharmed. And also I don't want to look like a goth, seeing as though much of my time is spent paying them out . . . and I already have dark black hair and wear dark clothing . . . but still, it looks so cool! And I need a jacket, it gets a bit same wearing a Holden (thats the greatest car company in the history of the world - a division of GM for those not in the know) jacket nonstop.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 It's vinyl. Pleather isn't that shiny. His coat does kick all kinds of ass, although I'd rather have a cloth version of it, sans the logo of course. And I'm so honored to be thought of as the fashion dude around here. I shall style and profile tomorrow on payday just for everyone here! (struts in his shiny-assed Playboy shirt)
Guest JacK Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Wow . . . that's very disturbing. I search on yahoo and whatnot for a vinyl jacket and it comes up with fetishy-disturbing stuff or barbie accessories.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Anybody that beats anybody up for wearing something that doesn't tingle their fashion sense has serious problems. And also I don't want to look like a goth, seeing as though much of my time is spent paying them out . . . The heck?
Guest JacK Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 Hey, what's edges email, I couldn't find it in his commentary thing; but he said he gets 'stacks o' Edgemail' so there must be 'SOMEWHERE OUT THERE' (Cheap Our Lady Peace plug) where I can ask hin.

Isn't that the type of coat that those scary misundertood teens who end up going postal wear? Wow . . . that's very disturbing. I search on yahoo and whatnot for a vinyl jacket and it comes up with fetishy-disturbing stuff or barbie accessories Some would take the hint.
Guest JacK Posted June 27, 2003 Report Posted June 27, 2003 No, it's not beat up for the fashion sense, it's beat up by people wanting to steal the coat, as some people would do with a good quality leather coat. And you know; paying them out . . . ie bagging them out . . . ie making fun of them . . . etc.

Ah, like my fly bomber jacket. The inside is orange. And you know; paying them out . . . ie bagging them out . . . ie making fun of them . . . etc. I have different slang where I live. Like, for me, I use "suck a tailpipe, buster" to tell some bum off of my business. I also use "hot-inked bling paper" when I talk about money (bills or coins). And since I'm an awful person, I also use a lot of racial slurs, but only around people who don't take offense easily or are smaller than me.
