Guest Nanks Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Does nobody realise that scars heal. Often very well. I was scarred very badly as a baby and had scars much through my younger years. You can't tell at all anymore, except for tiny, faint ones on my arms
Guest Steviekick Report post Posted June 30, 2003 They should have kept the hair or something. This is just what the WWE needs...another skin head wrestler like Austin, Goldberg, Nathan Jones...now kane.
NYU 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Oh, jeezus. I didn't think they could kill Kane's character even more, but they went and did it. Now he's like every other generic hoss out of there. I mean, making him bald ?! What the fuck are they thinking ?! He doesn't look grotesque at all. At all ! No burns, no scars, completely bald. This is Kane ?! Argh, my head hurts just thinking about how WWE dropped the ball on this one.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted June 30, 2003 lol - that first picture of Kane bears an uncanny resemblance to KKB - shocking. I'm interested to see how this all plays out on Raw tonight.

You can't tell at all anymore, except for tiny, faint ones on my arms Ross and Lawler's reaction to his demasking was that he's a scarred, burned freak. And now he isn't. They don't heal in a week. But I'm glad that you're okay now... Nik

Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2003 You're right about King Kong "Al" Bundy Junior. Kane should put the wig at least back on to prevent further angle fuck-ups. I liked the mask a lot so he should wear it again too, so Bischoff said he had to unmask, I don't recall him saying Kane could never wear the mask again... Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Not all scars heal. I knew a girl who had one on her forehead, burned from a kitchen accident as a kid. Cute girl otherwise, but it never healed properly so she always caked makeup on it. I think that's far more comparable to Kane's situation.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted June 30, 2003 At least Bundy was booked right... he was a Big Fat Monster Squash Guy. A Total Heel who used his mass to beat people up. they got no fuckin clue what to do with Kane for what? going on nearly 5 years (not counting 97-98 when they actually had a solid direction for him.) this is a travesty of unbelievable proportions as to how they pissed on Kane's character...and now they gonna show him on National TV in a little over a Hour and a half with No scars..no makeup, just a Bald head making him look like a Big Red Circumsized Penis! Thank George Carlin on that tidbit of comparision of what a shaved bald white guy are. in any event, for whatever reason they will have to explain why Kane isn't Scarred so badly and unhealable that he neeeded a mask all this time. Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted June 30, 2003 Yeah, Kane looks so much cooler now. Taking away the mask was such a great idea... He looks like a southern A-Train, minus the back hair. Note to all people who think Hurricane should also lose his gimmick: think again. Hurricane may be a good cruiserweight, but Kane was a pretty good heavyweight, and look what this did to him. People don't realise that while the gimmick may look silly, it is still part of the wrestler's personality. Take it away and most of the time they will fail. Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted July 1, 2003 Kane, the character is fucked. They're better off coming up with a new character for Glen Jacobs to play. Kane 1997-2003 RIP
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted July 1, 2003 PS: Why the fuck did he shave? Dear god, they could have made him the second coming of Darkside Taker if they played their cards right. I'm starting to believe Pringle's comment about how Undertaker keeps Kane held down.
