Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 There is reportedly talk of moving Bill Goldberg to Smackdown, to give him a fresh start. He would be positioned as a heel, and built up for a major program with Brock Lesnar. However, it is more likely that he will stay on Raw at this point, as a face, and move towards a main event World Title match with HHH at Summerslam. Mick Foley would not be able to get into ring shape in time, and WWE officials were pleased with the reaction Goldberg got in MSG on Raw last week. credit: PWTorch.com VIP Report http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/news/new...hp?news_id=7008 Great, instead of watching FGB go up against the office, he might just squash a younger more talented guy by feuding with Donkey Kong instead.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 I thought FGB refused to job to Brock. They're just trying to get him to leave or something.
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 Feed him to Brock and give him his pink slip already.
LooseCannon25 Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 Uuuum....anybody ever think that they actually might have him go OVER Brock if this happens....oh nooooooooooooo....it better not!!!!
Guest Askewniverse Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 Doesn't the WWE remember what happened the last time that Goldberg turned heel?
Guest edotherocket Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 This won't happen. Foley says he won't do Summerslam, Nash wants to be a heel and Kane is becoming a heel. This would leave literally not a single person to feud with HHH.
Guest AndrewTS Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 Doesn't the WWE remember what happened the last time that Goldberg turned heel? The WWE braintrust has a very short memory. Both Brock and Goldberg bombed as heels, and they've got similar characters. Neither can work the mic well, and the fans want to cheer unstoppable monsters. As a heel we haven't seen a character like that work too well. Even Sid Justice as a heel in the early 90's wasn't getting much heel heat. I don't think it will work well. However, I kinda want to see them try.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 Oh, every time a "Goldberg heel turn rumor" turns up, I realize we're Crusiserweight Tag Titles away from the End of WCW. Luckily, Vince will NEVER give us another CW title.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 Oh, every time a "Goldberg heel turn rumor" turns up, I realize we're Crusiserweight Tag Titles away from the End of WCW. Needs more Vince Russo Shoot Interviews. A necessary ingredient to kill a promotion dead.

When you're grinning and dancing like a retarded monkey, it's hard for people to believe that you're a monster.

I could of sworn WWE was going to put a title on Carrot Top, who would have been their answer to Mr. Courtney Cox as champ.

Guest TheArchiteck Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 I could care less....I like the ol' Berg better than Brock anyways. SPEAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 I just watched his early stuff, and he does jump around like a retarded monkey Why do you think I call him Donkey Kong? He bounces around like an ape and it's only a matter of time before he loses to that guy with the big nose who swings the sledgehammer.

When Brock was first starting out as a heel, Hardcore Holy didn't want to sell in his match with him. So, Brock hit him extra hard with a power bomb and actually knocked him loopy for a few minutes. The Pedigree is pretty easy to no-sell if you want to. But Brock could really mess you up with the F-5 if he wanted.

Wasnt that ol' Bobs fault. The way i heard it he wasnt assisting when Brock lifted him up and was acting like dead weight. So Brock promptly dropped him on his head. That's for bullying Matt on Tough Enough 3 you piece of shit. Karma is a bitch aint it
Lil' Bitch Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 With rumors of Goldberg coming to SD along with HHH making a return to the show, WWE on Thursday nights will be fucked worse than RAW!
Guest Dangerous A Posted July 1, 2003 Report Posted July 1, 2003 Too bad for Bob Holly. His character is as stale as Crash and look what happened to him this week. They should release Bob because there is no way in hell he'll be over. *1900th post talking about Bob Holly*
