Guest Lethargic Report post Posted July 1, 2003 I didn't have any interest in seeing this movie until I saw how good the trailers looked. But I would've seen it anyway just to try to help Mostow get a hit and make Cameron look dumb. Though he does a pretty good job of that himself most of the time. Not only is there a second-run theater up the street from me, but I also know the people that work there (all but three of 'em, actually), so I can both get in cheaper than usual (tickets are usually $6 at night, $4 matinee) and without ID (because they all know I'm 17). I was going to see it anyways, because I thought it'd be laughably bad, but with all the positive reviews, I'm thinking it might at least provide some good action scenes. When Sarah and John destroyed the chip and terminator arm at the end of T2, Arnold should've disappeared because the chip and terminator arm are what caused Arnold to be created. If those were destroyed, then Arnold should've disappeared a la Back to the Future when Marty starting fading when it looked like his parents wouldn't hook up. I won't post any spoilers here, but I will say that there is an explanation given as to how the events in T3 come about. Overall, I thought that it was a decent action movie. However, I won't be surprised if the movie gets some negative reviews. Some fans of the the first two movies may be disappointed, as there's more emphasis on action than story.
