My goodness. I swear that he is the most underrated performer out there...along with Jaoquin Phoenix. I think that those two are the kind of actors who are so versatile that they can do pretty much every possible role. I'm telling you right now. I love his work. The Cell alone was enough to make me get more of his stuff.

As much ass as his movies kick, he is like a demigod on Law and Order. He needs A. his own show and B. starring roles.

I did cast him as Mick Foley in my Foley biopic in the 'make your own movie site' thread. He was the only one on the list who had the right body type (see: Salton Sea) and is a good enough actor to do it (only other one with the right body type was Jack Black)

I think you mistook Vincent D'Onofrio for Vincent Gallo.

 

Nevertheless, I agree with the assertions that D'Onofrio is an overlooked talent and that Buffalo '66 should be seen by all.

Yeah, I definitely agree about D'Onofrio being an overlooked actor. He has impressed me in pretty much everything I've ever seen him in (Full Metal Jacket in particular). Oh, and I also agree that Buffalo '66 should be seen by all.

I HATE him on L&O.

 

He IS a demigod there. Not in terms of talent, though. In the sense that's Mr. Supercop, Holmesian super-detective. It annoys me. I can't watch the show because of it.
