Guest jester Report post Posted July 5, 2003 HHH would be passing out programs to people coming in the building. I want to see HHH and Jackie Gayda curtain jerk in a six second match where HHH taps to an armbar.
Lil' Bitch 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2003 Lance Storm should not get another push again. The guy has been completely detoirated and every push the company has given him has bombed. Why give him another? Storm/Regal were a pretty good heel, I was just pissed that the BookDust reign was so fucking short.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted July 5, 2003 Storm and Regal were a good team but the way they were booked to get the tag titles was ass backwards. Had they kept the winning streak angle and had them beat BookDust- that's fine. But they had them job to Jim Ross and then they gave them the belts- that's not fine
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted July 5, 2003 I haven't watched WWE in any way shape or form for the past few weeks due to work, so this is just kind of a workrate/traditionalist freak's wet dream of what Wrestlemania XX could look like. Of course this would never happen, but it's nice to dream. Oh, and also I think it's pointless to put up the buildup to the matches NOW since we all know WWE doesn't begin planning anything about Wrestlemania other than the site until Royal Rumble, or in X-8's case, a couple weeks before. WWE Championship Match: Ultimo Dragon vs. Chris Benoit Come on, TRY telling me these guys don't deserve to put on a clinic for the world, in which Benoit would FINALLY win the big one after all the trials and tribulations Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan Despite how beat up both men are, the historical implications of it, especially at MSG are tremendous. THE RATTLESNAKE VERSUS THE HULKSTER~! John Cena vs. The Rock Another one of "The Rock puts a new star over" things, but Cena is pretty much the new Rock in my eyes. HHH vs. Kurt Angle Just so Anglesault would be pissed. OK no, really.. HHH vs. Brock Lesnar Better now? No? HHH vs. Goldberg MUCH better. Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels For some reason I think these two could pull off a good match. Booker T vs. The Undertaker It'd be a fitting sendoff for Taker to put over Booker T, another Houston native and someone who would need the rub. Brock Lesnar vs. Rhyno Mainly because I think Rhyno deserves better treatment from the WWE, and that these 2 guys are heavy heavyweights who are talented. Tajiri vs. Rey Mysterio FASTEST. MATCH. EVER. And I don't mean that in terms of match time, either. This would be a helluva fun spotfest if they let these two go all-out Chris Jericho vs. Eddie Guerrero You know... Christian vs. Edge And this time, make the match REALLY good and really mean something. It'd be interesting to see just how far both of these guys have come along. I'm not a big fan of tag matches, so I couldn't figure out any tag team matches. But TTFKATA(The Team Formerly Known As Team Angle) should have a match against another talented tag team. Now, if such a thing would actually exist.
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted July 5, 2003 I like your card except for Edge v. Christian. They're not going to have a great match due to Christian.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted July 5, 2003 I forgot to also add Matt Hardy versus The Hurricane. Two fun, sort of over the top gimmicks, and both of them are semi-cruisers, much like Kanyon. Speaking of which, he deserves a match too. My point I once said in a thread (I forget which one) about there being WAY too many people on the roster is once again proved. Too many fish in a very small pond.
Guest C-Bacon Report post Posted July 5, 2003 A few matches i'd book: World Title : RVD vs. Chris Jericho (Yeah, its been done before but they could make a fresh fued and make it a ladder match to try and top WMX) WWE Title : Benoit vs. Lesnar vs Angle (I agree with barron that the title match should be 1 on 1 , but at this time, the SD! roster isnt strong enough for anything other than Angle/Lesnar in the main, and Benoit really deserves a spot like this before he retires) Booker T vs. Triple H IC Title: Lance Storm vs. The Hurricane Either Austin/Hogan or Austin/Goldberg "Dream Match" Crusierweight title: Rey Mysterio vs. AJ Styles (or if they don't sign him, Ultimo Dragon) Will have to wait and see how Cena, the tag division and such pan out to make matches. That, and the Undertakers street.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted July 5, 2003 Okay, here's what we do. First of all, no shitty nu-metal theme song. We use either the old Wrestlemania song, or the REALLY old one. Maybe a brass-rock arrangement incorporating both. Even better. As for matches, I'm too tired to think about it, so here are some quick notes. Hogan beats Austin, and they both retire. Chris Benoit finally wins the WWE Championship, completing a really long road to the title. Rob Van Dam wins the World Championship. Goldberg won't make it to March. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler will retire. Vince will not wrestle. Nay, he will commentate, so that this generation of WWE Superstars may have their moves called as WHATTAMANEUVER! If Bobby Heenan can regain his voice, put him with Vince for one night only. Hey, tradition. In fact, they should do a tribute montage for all the great and not-so-great men to call a match. Guest Korgath Report post Posted July 5, 2003 My card for Mania XX: WWE Title: It's got to be Angle © VS Brock, unless, for some unknown reason, they decide to push Benoit or Eddie G. Kurt Angle to retain the title. Taker's Match: Deadman VS. Big Show. It'll be the perfect job to give Taker the 12-0 and his damn retirement. World Title: Triple H © VS THE ROCK. I am the Game and I am that... damn... IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS! And the ratings just keep on coming. Triple H to retain because he just boinked Steph the night before, and Rock's a company man. NIGHTMARE ANGLE TO KILL ALL CREDIBILITY: Sable gets it on with Stacy Keibler while Steph watches and Torrie bangs her head against the wall. Dawn Marie quits the company in frustration. IC Title: Booker T © VS Rene Dupree. Grenier tries to work towards an upset victory by Dupree, but Booker's just TOO DAMN GOOD. Mr. Huffman to retain. Triple Threat: Team Toothless (Benoit/Haas/Benjamin) VS Team Doofus (Guido/Palumbo/Stamboli). Two heel teams? Nah, Benoit will be a languishing tweener by now. Little Guido (none of that Nunzio crap) with the Sicilian Slice on Benjamin for the upset victory. Women's Title: Gail Kim VS Lita ©. The battle of the "high-flyers". Maybe a ladder? Face Lita to retain. U.S. Title: John Cena © VS Rhyno. The Man-Beast takes Cena to the limit after Cena raps about Beasts from Detroit. Rhyno to win the US title. World Tag Team match: APA © VS Dudleys VS Disciples of Synn. Dudleys to win for the big pop, then turn heel as they beat down the APA. Cruiserweight Title: Ultimo Dragon © VS Billy Kidman. Kidman cheats to win the title, thus cementing his credibility as a multi-time Cruiser champ.
Adam 0 Report post Posted July 5, 2003 WWE Championship: Brock Lesner © vs. Chris Benoit Benoit finally accomplishes his dream. World Championship: Chris Jericho © vs. Rob Van Dam Van Dam finally captures that friggin belt! Intercontinental Championship: Randy Orton vs. The Hurricane It would be good to see, and don't tell me Randy isn't going to be IC Champ sometime soon. US Championship (Title vs. Career): John Cena © vs. The Undertaker. Taker FINALLY puts someone over at WM and 'passes the torch' World Tag Team Championship: The Dudley Boys © vs. Americas Most Wanted OK, I know, I pulled this one from somewhere but it would be good, dont you think? WWE Tag Team Championship: TTTFKATA © vs. Los Guererros Chavo is back from injury and ready to be Tag Champs again. Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Mysterio © vs. Ultimo Dragon Good to see again, even if they have done it heaps. Womens Championship: Gail Kim © vs. Lita It would be great to watch. Rhyno (w/ Paul Heyman) vs. Kurt Angle This could be good. One Last Match: Stone Cold vs. Hulk Hogan The two most sucessful Champs of the 80's and 90's go out to one last match. Ric Flair vs. The Rock One that hasn't been done yet. HEAT MAIN EVENT: A HUGE Raw-SmackDown 6 Man Tag Match! Raw Team: Triple H, Kane, and Batista SmackDown Team: Big Show, A-Train and Bill DeMott. Guest croweater Report post Posted July 5, 2003 Cruiserweight Title Match: Ultimo Dragon © vs. Tajiri vs. Rey ** A heel Ultimo picks up the victory surprising everyone who were sure the one of the two faces would pick up the victory. U.S. Title match. Edge vs. Matt Hardy. **The history here dates way.. way back. Both have chemistry together and a returning Edge would pick up the win. Intercontinental Title Match: Christian vs. Kane. Kane has entered Mid card Hell with a shoddy, ruined gimmik. He is a mere stepping stone for Christian onto bigger and better things. Christian continues his MASSIVE IC title reign. John Cena vs. Rhyno. A face John Cena goes over a heel Rhyno, cementing his popularity. Team Angle ©vs. Los Guererros ** Finally blowing off their feud Undertaker vs. TBS **The Big Show destroys Undertaker in a Backstage Brawl at NWO which continues throught the PPV and ends with UT being carried off in an ambulance barely surviving. For the next Smackdowns up until the PPV Undertaker is never seen, but plays constant Mindgames with TBS such as the lights going out during BS matches. THIS LEADS TO THE RETURN OF THE PHENOM!!!!!!! UT KICKS ASS AND SHOVES IT IN A HUGE CASKET.Then he retires. RVD vs. HHH RAW WORLD TITLE MATCH: Chris Jericho© vs. The Rock Chris Jericho defeated HHH for the title at the Royal Rumble in a 3 way with RVD Jericho pinned RVD and so HH and RVD are feuding. The Rock is Jericho's first major threat to the title. Jericho retains to gain credability. Smackdown Title Match Angle vs. Benoit vs. Lesnar A smarks wet dream. I LOVE 3 way matches as they provide great faulse finish action. This would be awesome.

Leave Now (put over cena)...come back at rumble...go over at Mania...Leave again...return at Series to Mania and Leave...Cycle Repeat.

Guest Nater Report post Posted July 6, 2003 Brock vs Angle (World Title SD) ME HHH vs -some random loser- (World Title Raw) RVD vs Jericho (Intercontinental) Benoit vs Rhyno (US) Gail Kim vs Victoria (Women's) La Resistance vs Dudley Boys (Raw Tag) x-Team Angle vs Nunzio/Palumbo (SD Tag) Rey vs Ultimo (Cruiser) Benoit vs Eddie Goldberg vs Austin the SD title is.. duh! Raw title.. does it matter? IC, best possible match for a ppv of the caliber for the belt. US, same.. Jericho and RVD might be taking a step back.. but its worth it. Gail Kim is only going up, and Victoria would be best against her. The established Raw TagTeam vs the new guys Two new teams that are doing SO DAMN WELL. Cruiser match is possibly dream-come-true. The two floater matches are either high caliber posibility or most wanted with the current history. I tried to weigh the talent with what WWE will wanna throw at us.. and decided to cut Steiner, Test, Show, A-Train, Rikishi, Mattitude and Clique.. although they'd do run-ins or hype something without a match.. Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted July 6, 2003 Austin/Hogan would be fine as long as: A. Austin wins B. It's kept fairly short C. It's treated as "special" match between two legends...NOT the main event. I hate babyface Angle, so I would only want to see Lesnar/Angle II if Angle is heel. In which case, Lesnar would go over. Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted July 6, 2003 (edited) I think the card will look something like this: Angle vs. Lesnar II Hogan vs. Austin McMahon vs. Bischoff~! 10 years in the making~~!!! (McMahon would love to beat his greatest rival in "his" arena) Randy Orton vs. The Rock 3rd generation superstars COLLIDE~!! HHH vs. Foley I would love to see: Eddie vs. Rey. 2/3 Falls Mask vs. Hair and Chris Benoit vs. William Regal. Let them go all out like they did at Pillman 2000 and this will rule. Guest BaldFish Report post Posted July 6, 2003 I like what all of you are suggesting, but here's what to expect: Smackdown Title: Undertaker over Lesnar © RAW Title: HHH © makes the whole "heel retains at WM" thing a pattern, as he goes over Booker T, Jericho, and RVD, Rock, and Flair in a six-pack challenge RAW Tag Titles: Dudleys over Frenchies © SD Tag Titles: APA over Team Angle © Kevin Nash over Shawn Michaels Rey Mysterio over Ultimo Dragon © (hey, there's gonna be at least one good match in there) Benoit vs. Angle in something way too short (okay, maybe two good matches, but it'll be cut short due to time) Hogan over Austin, double retirement Orton over Kane, meaningless "you spilled coffee on my shampoo" match Gail Kim, Lita, Trish, Victoria, Jazz, Jackie and Molly in a battle royal again

Guest JMA Report post Posted July 6, 2003 No DQ Match Chris Jericho vs. Triple H© Match background: Jericho would win the Royal Rumble and slowly turn face. He would also start using The Liontamer again. Jericho would go over cleanly here. The Rock vs. Christian Match background: The People's Champion vs. The Self-Proclaimed People's Champion. Up to this match Christian would start acting like the heel Rock. Christian would go over here after a hard fought match. He would win by using the classic "feet on the ropes" schtich. Brock Lesnar© vs. Kurt Angle Match background: A rematch. Brock will have rejoined Heyman. Kurt goes over here. No DQ, Falls Count Anywhere Rob Van Dam vs. Randy Orton Match background: Rob would be getting revenge for Orton beating Foley. Rob goes over cleanly here. Table Match La Resistance© vs. The Dudley Boyz Match background: Steiner will have been released, leaving Stacy without anyone to manage. She goes back to the Dudley Boyz for one match... before turning on them and helping La Resistance. She never forgot Buh Buh and D-Von putting her through a table. She starts dressing in braits and stuff. Through the match Stacy interferes. This causes Buh Buh and D-Von to attempt to put her through a table. La Resistance makes the save and this turns the match around. La Resistance goes over here. Booker T© vs. Goldust Match background: The feud of the former partners. The IC title is on the line. No more funny talk from Goldust. He goes back to his original character. He stalks Booker T. Booker would go over here. John Cena vs. The Undertaker Match background: The feud is still going on. Cena gets the victory here thanks to his chain and ends Taker streak. 2/3 Falls Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit© Match background: Benoit will have had won the US title. Eddie wants the title and to show Benoit he isn't second best. Eddie wins the third fall by "cheating to win." Haas and Benjamin© vs. Spanky and Garrison Cade Match background: Cade moves over to SD and forms a team with Spanky. Haas and Benjamin go over here. Ultimo Dragon vs. Rey Mysterio© Match background: Another respect match. Ultimo would go over here. Matt Hardy vs. Edge Match background: This will be Edge's return match and the start of a big feud. Edge will go over here since its his return match. Trish Stratus vs. Gail Kim© Match background: A respect match. Gail would go over cleanly.
LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2003 I'll just give my WMXX card: WWE Title Match Brock Lesnar (heel) vs. Kurt Angle (face) ---- 2 out of 3 falls World Title Match HHH vs. Chris Jericho (face) Bill Goldberg vs. Steve Austin The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels I.C. Title Match Booker T (Champion) vs. Rob Van Dam (Challenger) U.S. Title Match Matt Hardy (champion)vs. Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero Raw vs. Smackdown Double Tag title Match Dudley Boys vs. Haas/Benjamin WWE Cruiserweight Title Match Rey Mysterio vs. Ultimo Dragon Undertaker vs. Rhyno John Cena vs. Hulk Hogan Kane vs. Scott Steiner

Guest Mr Monday Night Report post Posted July 6, 2003 Okay, heres what I think WMXX should be. WWE Title: Angle vs. Brock This match was really a letdown @ WM19 just cuz we all know Kurt was NOT able to do his best. Give these two a second chance. I think Kurt should turn heel and def beat Lesnar to retain the title. He would have beaten Lesnar for it at one point during the year. Raw Title: Triple H loses the title around September and takes time off wrestling to heal some injuries. He takes an active role as the commish for Raw seeing as how the Co GM gimmick is starting to fade off. The title has changed hands rapidly for a bit, but eventually settles in the hands of Chris Jericho. The Raw title match would be a cage match between a heel Jericho and a face RVD. Triple H would be the guest referee. HHH would obviously be on Jericho's side, making the match seem impossible for RVD. A series of events including a run-in by Austin will result in RVD being the new Raw Champion. This will also build for an Austin/Triple H powerstruggle feud. Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan This match would really be just a flat out old school wrestling match. There wouldn't be much of a build up for it, Hogan would return under a special contract to wrestle one match at Wrestlemania before his retirement. That same night Flair would announce he is planning on retiring from wrestling. It would be a great double retirement match that would end with Hogan winning but a big pop for the both of them afterwards. They would both be awarded honorary championships at the end of the match. Undertaker vs Kane When the Undertaker learns of Kane's unmasking and such, he is enfuriated with Kane. He comes to Raw and kidnaps Kane. Suddenly the Undertaker is not so interested in motorcycles and being an American. Many weeks we don't hear from these two. Kane eventually comes back in his original costume, with a new mask that completely covers his face. Taker and him tag on Raw for a bit, but mostly Taker is his mentor. Taker is back wearing Lord of Darkness getup, and eventually grows his hair out again. Kane is instructed by Undertaker to fight RVD. During the match Taker tries to get Kane to wreck RVD but Kane won't. Taker and Kane start feuding. This match is a buried alive match (for old time's sake). 6 Man Tag Team Match nWo vs. DX This match was made after Kevin Nash, a returning Scott Hall, and Sting start up the nWo again as heels. This is soon counteracted by the formation of DX by HBK, a recent trade to Raw Billy Gunn, and the return of X-Pac. The match ends is built up that when HBK starts up DX the nWo comes out and says that the Raw brand is not big enough for two stables and the losers have to drop their name and join the winner's stable. The nWo will win, but the DX group becomes the nWo black and green (the new DX). WWE Smackdown Tag Team Titles (3 way tag) With the FBI becoming tag team champions in late August and holding them for many months with no team able to beat them, the Smackdown roster held a tournament to find the two tag teams to face them at WMXX. The eventual winners being the APA and Los Guerreros. The match was set up to be a TLC Match, but because none of the original TLC people were in the match, the Smackdown brand was unable to use that match. Stephanie wanted to make the tag team match a gimmick so she called upon the man who came up with the idea original TLC match, Mick Foley, who agreed to be the Special Referee in the rebirth of the dumpster match. The match was elimination style with the APA being eliminated first and the FBI next making the Guerreros the new tag champs. WWE Intercontinental Championship (No DQ) Christian vs. the Hurricane The Hurricane recieved a push around January to IC status. Him and Christian have had great on camera chemistry, and the feud intensifies as WMXX nears. They have had a few matches where Christian has used the DQ rule to retain his title. Commisioner Helmsley has made this match no DQ to ensure that the match will be fair. The Hurricane wins. WWE Raw Tag Team Championship With Justin Credible and Lance Storm reforming the Impact Players, and Dawn Marie coming to Raw as their Valet, they were getting over quite a bit with the former ECW fans. Meanwhile, the current champs the Dudley Boys were wondering why they weren't recieving the same ECW chants they originally were getting when they came to the WWE. In this special matchup, the WWE set up its camera's in the old Bingo Hall in PA for the WWE Raw Tag Team championship. The old ECW no holds barred rules apply, with the old ECW announcers, including Joey Styles and Joel Gertner. Paul Heymen is the special guest ref in the match. (This match was made due to the recent popularity of ECW following the WWE's incredible sales of ECW DVDs and their proper use of the ECW video library). Cruiserweight Championship The fucking Ultimo Dragon vs. Rey Mysterio Nuff said. Zack Gowen vs. Spanky No real reason for this match, other than a one-legged wrestler=ratings I know you all will this its dumb, but I was watching old wrestling from 99-00 last night and so I think this would be fucking awesome.
