WDI isn't all about praising oursleves and Banky.

 

It has a far better Wrestling Section. The Music Section is also far better, there are no trolls, there's way more intelligent conversations. The only thing WDI lacks is A current Events board.

 

As someone who once hated WDI and has since seen the light I can tell you that WDI takes all the good stuff from TSM and gets rid of the bad stuff.

 

If you want intelligent well thought out posts from old timers like Loss4words and El Cubano, etc. WDI is the place for you.

Oh, geez. I didn't say it was perfect. TSM can still offer things that WDI can't, such as its awesome Sports and Video Game folders. Don't read too much into my post when something wasn't there.

I won't praise WDI as the greatest message board of all-time, but it has admittedly shown some signs of recapturing the flair it had during its best times. What I like about WDI is that it's a somewhat small posting community, but the general quality of the posters makes up for the lack of them. I know some feel I slam TSM too much, but face it, a lot of the posters here are wannabe smarks or just are a little too bland to really do anything for the board. As time passes, more and more of the better TSM posters like Dr. Tom, Kingpk, and MrZsasz are posting over WDI...and Flyboy. Heh. I think the wrestling folder is the best one I've seen since the one at the EZBoard Smarks board. I like wrestling, but TSM's wrestling folder is way too crowded with pointless threads that offer little. Things are just "slow" enough in the WDI wrestling folder that a lot's contributed that's worth reading and I feel the quality is better there as a result.

 

It's all a matter of opinion and if you like TSM as it is, more power to you. Frankly, I wouldn't want to see many of TSM's posters at WDI anyway, and that's not a cheapshot, just the truth.

WDI's smaller community is something I like better than the larger TSM community. Both boards have pro's and cons, though I admittedly post at TSM more (mostly because of OAOAST).

I don't see how TSM's music folder is better. I'm not crazy about WDI's, but TSM's music folder is so one-dimensional. Nothing but rock threads. WDI's ain't much, but you don't have much room to talk.

I think I should thank you, I haven't laughed like that in a while. It doesn't have the same "crap," because in case you failed to notice, there are several threads that are quite good reads and discussions and most of the responses are longer than the poster's sig and are more intelligent. We know the product sucks but c'mon, what's the point of always being cynical? It is possible to be down on something with being a total cynic about it. Going through this wrestling folder, it would almost seem like a lot of the posters are being cynical just for the sake of it.

Certainly no worse than here. There are many cliques around here, so what's your point? Point is, even though it has its flaws, WDI isn't a haven for people who can't seem to speak their own mind or string together a comprehensible post.

I've posted at both boards and I just like TSM more.

 

No offense to WDI as I find it to be a good read every now and then but the board just doesn't appeal to me.

 

TSM has more folders that I enjoy even though WDI does have a very good wrestling folder.

I would probably post here more often than I do if I didn't always have so much trouble signing on? It's my fault and my computer's fault, not yours or anyone else's.

 

That said, I prefer WDI just because it seems more natural because it's where I've always posted and because I have never been much for "LOL" or one-line posts in threads, which seems to be popular in threads like "The One And Only RAW Thread" and such. That's more of instant message or chat conversation than anything.

 

I remember back when 500 posts used to be a major landmark because if you posted that much, you said something important in every thread just because that's the way it was. Now, it's meaningless.

 

Either way, I'm dating myself here, so I'll stop, but I'm not dead, for those who have wondered.
