Guest Lord of The Curry Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Figure I'd try and start a musical tradition-type thingy here. Basically put that during the course of today, July 8th, what song will be So Hot Right Now for you? My pick for today: Obstacle 1 by Interpol. You?
Guest Kibagami Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Trick Daddy -- "Baby 'Cause I'm A Thug". ...what? K.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Uhhh...I don't get it, so I'll just say Tears for Fears' "Mad World". Because it is a mad world. Very very. And being split apart with chainsaws by alien invaders before being eaten alive is more interesting than sex with Goldberg.
Guest Incandenza Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 "Fuck tha Police"--N.W.A. It, too, is more interesting than anal sex with Goldberg.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 "Crazy In Love," Beyonce Knowles. Don't even try to deny it.
Guest ant_7000 Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Yea, I have to say "Crazy in Love" Beyonce. I saw that video with those short shorts she had on, all I got to say is whoa.
rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Yeah, Crazy In Love does it for me too.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 Lil Kim feat. 50 Cent - Magic Stick I'm more of a "Jump Off" man myself. I think "I make a Sprite can disappear in my mouth" is one of the finest contributions anyone's made to pop culture in quite a while.
The Dames Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 "No Letting Go" by Wayne Wonder, mofos. Dames
Guest Renegade Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 "Crazy In Love," Beyonce Knowles. Don't even try to deny it. I tried to, I really did, but its just too catchy!
Guest Flyboy Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 I can't stop listening to Nelly Furtado's "My Love Grow Deeper, Pt. 1" so that would be my choice.
Guest Flyboy Posted July 8, 2003 Report Posted July 8, 2003 With all the love I see that "Crazy In Love" is receiving, I recommend Beyonce's Dangerously In Love. If you like catchy pop-ish RB songs with Knowles' voice, it ain't bad. "Me, Myself, I" and "Dangerously In Love 2" are by far the best tracks on the album.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Nekromantix - "Who Killed The Cheerleader?"

I tried the album, but it just didn't do it for me. The singles cast too big a shadow over the rest of the album. PS Who produced Crazy In Love? Common sense would say The Neptunes, but I wanna make sure.
Guest kingkamala Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Tie I guess..... Over the Mountain by Ozzy Osbourne Queen-Radio Ga Ga

One of my friend's picked it up for $10 the other day, and we listened to it while we barbecued for the fourth. It's decent...but there's a lot of meandering. There's probably a half-dozen great pop songs on there, but she's got a ways to go. The tracks that are sure to be the singles are frickin' great, though.
Guest Snappy Nappy Dugout Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Speaking of R&B.... What do you guys think of Mya. "My Body Like...... Wo" has been in my head since last month. And BYGOD~! She looks good in the video. Oh, And Bow Wow's "Let's Get Down" is a great song too. What? *Runs and Hide*
Guest ant_7000 Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 "No letting you go" by Wayne Wonder " I'll Never leave (uh oh uh oh)" by Lumidee "Candi Bar" by Keith Murray- this needs to get some serious spins in the club IMO. "Forever" by Lil Mo
Guest La Parka Es Mi Papa Posted July 9, 2003 Report Posted July 9, 2003 Hmm.... I guess that would be She Watch Channel Zero!? by Public Enemy.
