IMO, every wrestler should have three signature finishing moves, and they shouldn't mean automatic wins either.  I'm a fan of the new shoot-like style in Japan.

The DDT should be finisher level again. It used to mean something damnit! Now everybody uses it. When was the last time someone lost to the DDT? Last time I remember was Rock beating Regal with it. I know Raven won on Smackdown but he had help. Everyone but Raven and Dreamer should stop using the DDT.

Why anyone should be allowed to kick out of a powerbomb is beyond me! The WWF should limit the powerbomb to certain wrestlers and make it a finisher. Period.

That last time I saw it, Benoit's Diving Headbutt was nothing but a signature move.  It was a pretty good finisher in WCW.

Someone should take the jackhammer away from Billy Gunn, although I haven't seen him do one in about a year, and let someone else use it as a finisher.  Shelton Benjamin would be perfect.  He probably has the strenght to pull it off right to.

I think HHH needs an extra finisher in his arsenal.  It seems people don't pop for anything in his offense BUT the Pedigree.

That's how he broke his ****ing arm, trying an SSP when he was Super Lyger (while training) in Japan working under Ultimo Dragon! (Strange it only lasted one night)

He'll NEVER EVER be doing an SSP again.

 

Alot of King's throws from the Takken games are wrestling moves, such as the Muscle Buster, the Vertebreaker, etc.

two weeks ago on smackdown when he beat ddp for the europeon title.

I missed that one unfortunately. Which is a rare occurance for Raw/Smackdown.

 

Maybe recently its been that too often a Chair or Title has been the way to end a match because people cant buy that a guy who punches and kicks his way around a match for 7 to 12 minutes can be held down.. too much spunk in the guy i guess? Taking bumps is one thing but putting on a shoot match can get boring especially when your arsenal is put down because of that.

 

Breaking a "signature" hold was a big deal at some point (yes yes nostalgia..) like the Sharpshooter or Figure-4.. now its just a race to the ropes or a run in.

 

Guess that says a lot about my opinion on current wrestling..

I'm not, but I like the idea.  And since people no-sell Jericho's Walls, Lionsault and Breakdown, he's already set

I agree.  Unlike the "Power of the Punch", the "Sledgehammer to the Knee" is a bit more obvious...

I'd give it to Lensar - if he didn't do that interesting pancake variation - because the idea of a "rookie monster" destroying people with a jackhammer would be sure to piss off a certain WCW has been...

It's pretty bait that Brock is ripping off Goldberg and Rhyno at the same time, but who gives a shit? The guy rocks.

 

His Firemans DDT sorta thing is better than a Jackhammer, but i wish they brought O'Haire back and had him do it again. I marked out when he almost broke Bradshaws neck with it on THAT Raw in July.

 

Also, my name suggests a swank finisher just waiting to be used, and if WWF do bring Lynn back, LET HIM CRADLE PILEDRIVE FOR GODS SAKES!

 

Submissions need to be used more, they can seriously be used as a heat machine from the fans while at the same time allowing the superstars to rest a little.

 

Plus, the Edge O Matic is cool, that deserves to be more than just a trademark near-fall getter.

O'Haire never did a fireman's DDT, just a similar move.

Vertebreaker has been seen once in the WWF, it got the 3.

Don't remember many kick outs from it in WCW.

 

I doubt Jericho would use a Shinning Wizard I or II or II
