Guest OnlyMe Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Regarding Shawn Michaels' comments on the July 7th Raw from Montreal where he stated that he apologized to Bret Hart, brethart.com (Bret's official web site) would like to clarify that Bret Hart has never received any apology whatsoever from Shawn Michaels. For a man who claims to have found God to outright lie to millions of people is disappointing to say the least. Then again, it really isn't surprising when you consider that this is the same Shawn Michaels who swore to God, on video tape, right after the Survivor Series '97 screw job, that he wasn't in on it ... only to admit, years later that he was in on it all along. If anyone is aware of any apology that Shawn ever made to Bret that was not part of an angle please send us a copy. Bret Hart.com

LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Daaaaaaaaaaaaamn..........I guess Bret and Shawn won't be chummy anytime soon. Not for nothing but Shawn does sure lie alot for someone who found god. Perhaps, it's all bullshit
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted July 9, 2003 411 added this- Just to note, Shawn Michaels did issue Bret Hart an apology on an episode of TSN's Off The Record. Oh and Bret- LET IT GO. You were screwed, HBK is a fuckhole (I agree there) blah blah blah- We get it already
Guest The Old Me Report post Posted July 9, 2003 I read on 411, that HBK DID issue an apology on TSN's "Off the Record." Still, Shawn is full of shit. That is all. EDIT:Damn it Bob!
Guest bob_barron Report post Posted July 9, 2003 So much for Shawn being a "born again" Christian. Not to defend Shawn here- But what does Bret Hart whining about an apology have anything to do with Shawn's newfound religious beliefs.

If he would have done the job in the first place non....... uuum, never mind lets not get into it again. Bret, LET IT GO!

Not to defend Shawn here- But what does Bret Hart whining about an apology have anything to do with Shawn's newfound religious beliefs. Isn't it obvious? The guy claims to be a new person and "reborn." So far I've seen no signs of change. And I don't see Bret Hart whining either.

Of course Shawn is full of shit- but Bret should get over it. (As should WWE for that matter). Shawn DID apologise on OTR and sincere or not- Bret's the one who is being a baby here- it was just an angle designed to get Jericho heel heat for his match v. Jindrak and to get the fans off HBK's ass. It failed.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 9, 2003 I find it SAD that Bret goes to the "If Shawn is a born again christian" arguement ONCE again... Stop blaming SHAWN and VINCE for ruining your marriage, your career, your sense and your memory. Just because you lost everything doesn't mean that you have to resort to a event that happened ONLY because you were a selfish little prick who brought into his own hype...JUST like the man that killed your career, Bill Goldberg. You don't know the real Michael Hickenbottom- You only know Shawn Michaels the WWE wrestler. Bret Hart is whining here- He's saying SHAWN DIDN'T REALLY APOLOGISE TO ME AND HE IS AN ASSHOLE BLAH BLAH BLAH- He's whining about the same old things. Guest JMA Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Does anyone have a transcript of this apology? I don't doubt it, I just want to see what Shawn said.
Guest Memphis Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Shawn's always been a fucking dick and he always will be. Whether he can find positives in a God that was created by man is another thing, but hiding behind it only makes him look even more like a tool. Bret still owns you, Shawn. LooseCannon25 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Michael Hickenbottom could very well be a born again Christian. Bret Hart is like a veteran who keeps having flashbacks of the same shit over and over and over again. He needs to move on with his life, but instead has to make jabs at WWE and HBK at any chance he gets. To be honest I think he's bitter that Shawn's career was much more successful after the incident. Bret never did much in WCW and was never that over. It could be bitterness on his part.
Guest The Old Me Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Well of course Bret is still whining. This was one of the last signifigant things to happen in his life, and he's stuck on it. What? You didn't call WCW signifigant did you? BWAHAHAHA!
Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 9, 2003 ^ Bret Owns Shawn? Why is bret sitting alone growing old in Calgary without his family, with his ex-wife and kids leaving him...His familly falling apart? Memory fading slowly, his body deterorating still clinging onto a event that happened only because he wasn't honorable to do the traditional rule of the game he claimed he "LOVED"...when the fucking truth was... Bret Hart only loved his fame and his "Legancy" and he would'nt do what all other great legends done in the past...Put over the company's guy when leaving for another promotion/territory. FOR THAT...I say...FUCK YOU BRET. You were the greatest wrestler of the modern era and I'll never ever deny that... But...Bret...You made you own fucking bed... Don't blame Shawn for doing what HE had to do...and Don't blame vince because he was trying to save his company from being ruined because you wanted to pull a power play. Guest Shanghai Kid Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Some people are a joke if they take what Bret Hart says and automatically thinks it's gospel and that it proves everything. Look, i'm a huge Bret fan, but he's a loser. Vince has said sorry, Shawn has apologized, Bret is the only guy not willing to let it go. Bret's life has fallen apart, and of all things that has happened to him, he's still holding this grudge. JMA, your quick to pass judgement. How in the holy hell is anything obvious? You haven't seen any change? Well whoopityfuckingdoo. If you knew Shawn personally i'd understand, but what, you haven't seen any changes in the character he plays on TV?? As Vince would say, "Who the hell do you think you are". And than you say I don't see Bret whining, what has he beend doing for the last 6 years?
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Vince McMahon is the one who needs to get over it, and stop booking around something that happened six years ago every time he goes to Canada. WCW is dead, Bret's career was over a long time ago, let it go Vince, you big fucking baby the whole angle last night was a whiny temper tantrum from Vince b/c he didnt like that 'you screwed bret!" has become montreal's "WHAT??" Guest Choken One Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Shawn's LIFE has been more successful then Bret's... Shawn left the WWE putting over the biggest star in WWE history in the biggest angle in WWE history (tyson)... Married an beautiful dancer and settled in his beautiful home in San Antonio and had their child... Shawn made a revivial for his career and returned to a Semi-Working rotuine...returned to the Main event and was the showstoppa once again at Mania... Shawn found his peace in life...Found the lord... and he is happy. Bret? Retired by the feet of a Wrestler that didn't even care about the industry... Watched family members die left and right... Suffered a stroke at an young age... Losing his touch with reality... I would understand why Bret would be bitter...
Guest Memphis Report post Posted July 9, 2003 There's only so much a man can take before he begins to become unprofessional, no matter how loyal or good-willed he is at heart. Shawn's actions and allegations towards the Hitman were inexcusable, immature and spiteful. These allegations were blatant harrassment and did not enable Bret to fully enjoy his work within a safe environment, like he had the right to. Fair enough ,Shawn had no option but to screw Bret. However, if he had the choice to NOT do it do you think for a second that HBK would give three fucks? Of course not, because Shawn has always been about himself, not the WWE, WWF, Vince McMahon or anyone else. If the Hitman is at fault here than so is Shawn, if one man can be defined as selfish than so can the other. So to that, I say FUCK YOU SHAWN. M

If Bret hart cares so much about fucking tradition...Then why the fuck did he refuse to do the traditional role of his postition to put over the company's guy when he was leaving? Why? Because he brought into his own hype that he was Jesus Christ to Canada and couldn't leave Canada a loser... Bret is just as much an Hypcrite as Shawn is. bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2003 So to that, I say FUCK YOU SHAWN. M FUCK SHAWN? FUCK BRET. No you're both wrong. FUCK VINCE fuck him for another incredibly lame "Montreal screwjob" angle, Fuck his lame ass storylines, fuck him for making WWE go from consistently entertaining in 2000-early 2001 to near unwatchable with shitty storylines, fuck him for acting like a whiny crybaby, Hey vince mcmahon, get over the fucking screwjob. It happened six years ago. And while you're at it, bring us the Vince mcMahon of six years ago. We could use him, instead of you, you dumbass.
