Guest Anglesault Report post Posted July 9, 2003 Hey, I got my WWF magazine yesterday and I was just now leafing through it. Couple of interesting points. In the really nice 12 page Blassie tribute, they mention in a caption that Freddie helped launch Regis’ talk show. Anytime someone from WWF was on Live, Regis would mention him as well. Anyone know the story? Also, it seems as though they are trying to push the Angle/Lesnar feud as something big. Biggest hype for one match that I’ve seen in this Magazine Of course, Raw magazine told us that the Mania feud would pit them as equals, so who the hell knows. The biggest point I wanted to make was in the Long interview. Remember the Booker/HHH feud that people swore up and down wasn’t racist because no one elaborated on “people like you”? Well, read this excerpt and decide WWF Magazine: Now, getting back to Rodney Mack and the “White Boy Challenge,” a lot of people are saying that you yourself “Haterize” or hate people, that Rodney Mack’s only going to come out and beat up on the white boys. Mr. Long: You know, people are going to say what they want to. Rodney Mack will not only beat up on white boys, he’ll beat up on the black guys too. We ain’t out to be racists or just target whitey. The only reason I’m talking about the white man is because the white man is not giving us our equal opportunity. Look at Booker T. Everyone knows that Booker T should have been the World Champion coming out of Wrestlemania What did Triple H tell him? “People like you don’t become World Champions.” What does he mean “people like you?” I believe this is the first time they even touched on that. I heard Chris Irvine is a real nice guy, but of course while he's playing Jericho, of course he's going to be a prick (whenever he or WWE decides to have play a face again). I still think they just made that story up, like that guy would have really gotten backstage like that?
