Here are the current matches for the Smackdown exclusive Vengeance PPV:

Note: MINOR SPOILERS

- Brock vs. Angle vs. Show - WWE Title

- Kidman & Mysterio vs. Benjamin & Haas - Tag titles

- Vince McMahon vs. Zach Gowen

- Stephanie McMahon vs. Sable

- Billy Gunn/Eddy vs. Hardy/Benoit (most likely Gunn vs. Hardy with Gunn going over) - US Title

- John Cena vs. Undertaker

Count me out. I am, however, looking forward to SSlam with HHH vs. Goldberg, Angle vs. Lesnar, and HBK vs. Jericho or Orton

This will be my first PPV since I moved to New Mexico and am near a bar that will be showing it free. That will probably be the route I take. As for paying 40 bucks to see Vince VS Zach Gowen...go fuck yourself, WWE.

Where do you get Gunn vs. Hardy?

It's most likely Gunn vs. Benoit, to make Benoit look like an even bigger fuck then they make him out to be already.

WWE wants Gunn to win the U.S. title. Since Gunn is a face, he would presumably beat a heel (Hardy) for the title.

I was dead set on ordering Vengence about a month ago, but all that's out the window. Maybe if it turns out to be Eddy vs Benoit in the finals for the US title, but I don't expect that...so you can count me out as well.

Well, Hardy earned his push, and it has been long and slow. Billy returns every year or so and has his push rammed right up our asses, so to the idiots it will look more impressive to see Billy beat Benoit than to see Hardy do it.

Actually it will be Gunn vs Guererro and Benoit vs Hardy and the finals will be at the PPV.

I'd watch it. It's a bit pricy but I'd have no problems paying $20 for it since it's SD only. Half the roster, half the price.

^ Something WWE should think about...

$21 bucks for Split shows...

$34 bucks for Co-Brand

Yep...Logic. Silly Me.

Right, because that's just a brilliant logical deduction. Half the wrestlers - half the price; easy math right? Except this doesn't take into account production costs, arena costs, staffing the show with non-wrestlers, TV/video costs, etc., and plenty of other things that have to be paid for, before the company takes a profit on the event. Not to mention essentially the same number of wrestlers are actually appearing on the PPVs and getting paid for it, the only difference is instead of fewer guys getting paid every month, more guys are being paid, in groups that each get paid once every two months.

The word logic is the most overused word in the ICW, and is rarely applied correctly. Few arguments I hear on wrestling websites have any more sound logical structure than stuff the WWE does.

never said it was good business wise just said it was good personally

They still need a few more matches and they still have Dragon, Rey, Kidman, The Best Damn Tag Team and others. I'll wait to see the rest of the card. The three way title match will be good and if they give me three good matches in the rest of the card im in.

It's almost as if they're going out of their way to encourage folks to try the NWATNA weekly PPVs - I'd have to question the sanity of anyone who'd pay 40 bucks for the card as it stands.

You can probably add the APA vs the FBI too.

I haven't ordered a PPV since No Way Out, and don't plan on starting until at least Summer Slam.

The logical results after next week’s SD would be to have Eddie beat Gunn and Matt beat Benoit with the help of Rhyno. That would set up Matt/Eddie and Rhyno/Benoit at the PPV and it would also keep Mr. Ass off of Vengeance.

Nah, it makes too much sense.

I'll be watching it a friends house- I won't be paying for it though

Bad Blood may have sucked but at least the matches were hyped properly and had some continuation. Goldberg/Jericho, Nash/HHH, Flair/HBK, Booker/Christian...

but now we have Zach/Vince, Sable/Steph, Taker/Cena...WTF

lets see if there is any match that make this ppv worthy of 35 dollars

WWE Title - with TBS... no with.. angle/brock only then hell yea...

Vince/Gowen - BWAHAHAHAHA oh silly WWE

Steph/Sable - no this will not be a trish/steph repeat like NWO 01.... i wouldnt mind too much but since vince is already on the card fighting the one legged wander then NO

Cena/UT - NO... angle/UT sucked a few years backed.. this will be like that but worse...

US Title Match - with the most likely possibility that gunn will win then NO... gunn/hardy would not be good.. gunn/beniot wouldnt be bad but just bury beniot FURTHER...

lets see with have a possible four shitty matches... the wwe title might be ok if big show isnt involved much.... other than that we have another LOSER and i gotta give props to vince... SD! has soo much potential and he always manages to FUCK it up... saves me money again..

It's times like these i'm glad Australia can't order WWE PPV's, just to make sure don't end up ordering one by accident. Two seperate McMahon matches, Billy probably winning the US Title, Sloth main eventing, old man Taker going over Cena, fuck that.

oops i forgot the tag titles but oh well.. should be pretty good i guess although its going to be almost too predictable who will win..

If I didn't have a sports bar around me that showed the ppv's for free, I wouldn't have watched the last year of ppv's.

WWE has done NOTHING to make me want to buy a ppv since the Invasion ppv, which ended up botched.

Like the other guy was saying, I was dead set on ordering Vengeance two weeks ago, but it gets worse and worse after every show.

- With Big Show in the main job to take the job, that was already bad.

- Now we have Vince involved in another match with him working.

- John Cena didn't even make to the semi-finals of the US tournament.

And I would rather see Benoit job to Hardy rather than to Gunn, it wouldn't be so bad that way.

If Gunn wins it, Vengeance will be a steaming pile of shit...and the possibility of it being WORSE than Bad Blood.

I guess we have to wait until next week to see if the finals for the US Title tournament at vengeance is gonna blow. If it’s Matt v Eddie or Benoit v Eddie, then there is at least 1 reason to watch the PPV. If Gunn wins it, then I will have absolutely no interest in the PPV.

Wait...didn't Billy nearly kill Benoit in a match a few years ago? Why should he have a second chance to succeed?

My options for that night are to either

(a)....see Vengeance at a bar for free

(b)....pay $25 and see Type o Negative and Lacuna Coil

Me thinks me will live it up and go to the concert.

Like anyone really wants to see to McMahonMatches in one night.

Thank God for the Creation of Bars...

If I'd just known they aired Wrestling in bars in 1995...I'd never paid for All those Nash matches...
