Oh yeah, another downpoint if Undertaker doesn't put Cena over again.

*waits to see how fucked up more Vengeance can get.

Anyone else see the SLIGHTEST possibility that Taker might lay down for Cena? Sure, it won't be a clean win, but Taker did do the job for Brock two PPV's in a row last year, and though Cena's push pales in comparison, he's obviously still being groomed for a nice spot. If this works out like I think it might, being taken out of the U.S. Title Tourney might end up being even better for him with a win over Taker.

But then again, I'm an optimist. And Vengeance still appears half full of SHIT.

No bar's around me even waste people's time or their money on WWE anymore. It's probably been a year since I've seen a bar advertise a WWE PPV playing there.

Of course, I'm not looking that hard either.

Like the world title tourney?

Why not? That was still the biggest win Cena has had, and on a larger stage like a PPV, it would do him some good, especially since he's starting to acquire a fan base with the live crowds.

Ha...There's 4 bars all 25 minutes around me that have PPVs on like 8 Big Screens and they usually have 50-200 people all there for the show...

Damn! This city of live in isn't that small. I live like 30 minutes from the amish though. But it's still just like any other town, except for lack of WWE PPV's I guess.

Oh well. The town's not missing much.

I live in Cincy...So there like Hooters and BW3's all round here

Well, I guess they'd be playing it in Hooters, but that's like 50 minutes away. A long drunk drive home.

Um, no he didn't. Look up a review of Unforgiven sometime.

I forsee Cena getting the Test treatment from last August.

By the way, I find Gunn to be one of the most mockable wrestlers on the roster, but I don't see him getting to the finals, especially not against another face, due to his overness problems.

Yeah...I get a rise outta the 50 year old drunks there with there 6 year old son wearing an oversized Austin 316 jersey hollering and hooting and all the High School Dweebs sitting in a corner with Paper sheets (taking bets)...

It's better then the show half the time...

You're right. Thank God I wasn't hooked up to Vince's lie detector.

Here in Singapore we get it free. It's heavily censored (i.e. Steph/Sable is probably not going to be shown) but sometimes, that's not a bad thing, it's a good thing.

What would their reason for censoring that be? Just too much silicone?

Are we talking about the same match? Where it took a ref bump, a chain, a chair and three run ins so Cena could roll over and win?

Hogan had to use a belt to the head to beat Taker the first time.

Angle used his lookalike brother.

HBK only beat him with the help of Kane.

It doesn't matter how its done. When someone pins Taker, people are impressed. Even more so, I would say, when its a young unaccomplished guy like Cena. All I'm saying is I hope it happens. Clean would be nice. But I'll take either way.

Incidentally I haven't been able to use Kazaa for a couple months. Is there a clear version of Cena's new theme available on it?

Yeah, that shot Angle right to the top.

Then why isn't Cena at the top of the card?

Say he does it to everyone. But don't claim that he's putting them over.

Angle was already at the top, and for a midcarder like Cena to beat (however he did it) a guy that the world champion himself had to cheat to pin, is impressive.

I don't think he's "putting people over" in the sense that he's admitting they're better. But given the infrequency that Taker loses, when he DOES get beat, people take notice. That was right around the time a lot of people started seeing Cena as a good worker, rather than just a stupid gimmick. And when Cena beat him last time, he WAS at the top of the card for the next PPV. I'm not saying Taker's a giving, caring guy who hands out rubs like they were candy, I'm just saying that Cena would benefit from another victory over him, though it most likely won't happen.

It seems as though Angle's Honky reign will aways be debated.

I'd say he was third heel from the top at that point.

Cena happened to be in the right place at the right time. That about covers it.

You're right, but that's how a lot of careers start. I'll put it this way, he could have lost to Taker or beat him. As it happened, he beat him. How many people over the years have pinned Taker clean, anyway? I'm not trying to argue, simply pointing out that Cena is on the way up, slower than Brock simply because of Vince's big guy fetish. He'll get there eventually, and pinning Taker is a fine start.

Who?

I meant metaphorically, not literally.

I meant guys like Steve Austin, who were not brought in with the intention of making them the biggest thing in wrestling, but had the right gimmick at the right time, and when the fans reacted, so did Vince. I know its a stretch, but it could happen with Cena. Like I said, I'm also an optimist, which leads me to be disappointed a lot when it comes to wrestling.
