Guest The Czech Republic Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 If I was a Plucky Newcomer With No Discernable Personality, I'd wear yellow and orange tights and come out to "Centerfold" by J. Geils Band. Then I'd get everyone to clap along with the music, because I'm just a hot newcomer with ruthless aggression, and I'm just trying to get everyone to have a good time out here.
Guest Gomezticator Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 I think it'd be cool to have a generic masked jobber come out to dance music and dance his way to the ring, kind of like a masked Scotty 2 Hotty who's only real gimmick was all the dancing... oh wait, La Parka, nevermind. But I think it'd be cool for someone to rip off the La Parka dancing masked jobber gimmick and use it to get a jobber over with the crowd.
Mecha Mummy Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 Or they could just sign La Parka. That's always good.
Guest Gomezticator Posted July 12, 2003 Report Posted July 12, 2003 Well, La Parka's still working in AAA in Mexico (and is arguably a top guy by default, given how bad AAA is lately), but signing him at his advancing age might not be worthwhile, not that that's stopped Vince McMahon in the last year or so.
Astro101 Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 I saw La Parka on the Mexican version of Family Feud with some other Luchas.
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 How old is the LaParka in AAA? Cause it's not the same guy who was in WCW so he may be younger.
Guest Choken One Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 Does it matter who is in the Mask? LaParka doesn't need to be a KILLER cruiser... Hell...Stick Patterson in there and it's gonna be blockbusters.
Guest godthedog Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 I saw La Parka on the Mexican version of Family Feud with some other Luchas. that sounds like some strange dream. "dude, last night i dreamed that i was watching 'family feud'. except it was this mexican version of 'family feud', and they had these lucha wrestlers on, and they were all wearing their masks and shit."
Guest deadbeater Posted July 13, 2003 Report Posted July 13, 2003 You can see La Parka on 'Sabado Gigante' dancing with El Tigrito in the amateur song contest. I love the way they fall down when someone is real bad after the wannabe sings one note. I think La Parka is the Mexican version of Duende, the trickster.
