syxx2001 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2003 I was reading an interview with Kid Kash and I read this Kid Kash says he isn't knocking anyone or putting himself "over" and everyone knows he's not like that. If you give him the ball he will run with it. He says that Trinity is spectacular as an athlete and that the angle with him and her in NWA-TNA was so "over" the NWA-TNA Officials wanted it to stop because in Canada they do not approve of such angles. Kid Kash says that they had to end the angle. He said he turned on the TV a few weeks ago and was watching RAW and saw that the SAME angle that he had with Trinity in the NWA-TNA with the contract signing and beating up a woman, he saw that Test did the same angle with Stacy Keibler on RAW! I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THAT! Show how much I pay attention to RAW. Ever since Test turned I would be on AIM complaining about how they stole that straight from Russo's writing tablet and scribbled it onto the McDonalds receipt 15 seconds before the show started. So I'm guessing TNA is trying to unmask Shark Boy as some sort of payback or something for WWE stealing their angle? But Im sure Sharky won't get unmasked, but it will lead up to New Jack saving him and him and NJ hugging or something and NJ turning on Shark Boy. What do you think? Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted July 13, 2003 I think it was just one of those random things. I mean Chris Jericho and Eddie had a thing for trying to unmask people in WCW for a bit.
Guest acnx Report post Posted July 13, 2003 I actually remember thinking when they started the angle with Test, that it was a lot more entertaining with the K-i-d. However, I doubt it's payback of any kind. I think it was just something to do for Sharkboy.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 14, 2003 Crash stealing the Styles Clash is one thing. But this is nothing more then a conincidence (sp...my spelling sucks)
Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted July 14, 2003 Kid Kash rules. He's like a Savage/Michaels hybrid, although nowhere near them in the ring yet, if ever. But it shows how well an angle does when the people involved have charisma (Trinity is passable). Revenge unmasking, while it sounds like Russo, isn't likely. Although the Shark Boy angle is actually amusing & entertaining for the right reason, because he doesn't look like a fetal alcohol baby under his mask like bald Kane does. Guest Prototype450 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 Wait so Shark Boy was unmasked?! I'm about to go to sleep so someone get me pics overnight if this is true. I haven't followed TNA since like week 34.
syxx2001 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 He wasn't unmasked, but they are trying to get him to. In storylines.
Guest The Decadent Slacker Report post Posted July 14, 2003 But what good is it if they do unmask him? No one will recognize him. But there's better(ish) stuff going in tNA anyway, so whatever.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 I remember there was a thread in the WWE folder along the lines of Test-Stacy...where is this going? I replied: Test will continue to abuse her...but little does he know Stacy is actually the masked luchadore.
Guest Deviant Report post Posted July 14, 2003 I agree that it is pointless to unmask Shark Boy and I don't think they will. However, how do you wrap up an unmasking angle with the masked guy winning? A Mask vs something match that he would win? Why wouldn't they continue to try? Women beater angles are as old as such things have been allowed to happen, but Test becoming Kid Kash II seconds after Kash made it work is a little too coincidental if you ask me, which you didn't, but hey... Adam 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2003 Well that first Kash-Trinity match was one of the best man vs. woman matches that I have seen, and WWE have been stealing angles for way longer than that. Look at the angles in ECW and WCW they stole.

Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted July 14, 2003 Anyone who's seen MTV True Life: "I want to be a pro wrestler" has seen Sharky without his mask. But as a wrestler he's nothing special. The mask at least gives him a cool gimmick.
