Guest TheCrowCall Posted July 16, 2003 Report Posted July 16, 2003 In an idea taken from HartFan86, I wanted to ask everyone here for ideas on names for my primary finishers in my own backyard wrestling federation. I go under the wrestling name, "The Crow", and am an arrogant heel, very similar to Chris Jericho's character in WCW. My two primary finishers are The Flatliner and the Dragon Sleeper. The names that I have for them so far are "The Crow Call" (for the Flatliner) and "The Crow's Nest" (for the Dragon Sleeper). I came upon HartFan's thread and wanted to ask around here and see if anyone could come up with better names that don't have my character's name in the name of the move. As my Crow character, I hail from Canada and will from now on be announced as "The Canadian Sensation, The Crow" when I enter for matches, if that helps at all with thinking of names for the moves. Sounds silly, but about only thing I can can come up with for Canadian besides: Dragon Sleeper -> Vexing Lynx. Since Lynx is a mountain lion that makes it's home in most parts of North America (hence apart of the cat breed) you can use a play on words and have that as your submission finisher. You know, your vexing the lynx. Causing iratation to your opponent. ...yah, it isn't that great.

If you have no training whatsoever, you shouldn't even contemplate it. I have a few months worth of training and I'm still a little anxious anytime I'm delivering a slightly risky move. I'm fine taking them, because I can rely upon myself, but I don't want to hurt anyone.

That's a little mean don't ya think? And Lighting Flik, I'm trying man. He wanted something to do with canada and his move was a LionTamer. It was the best I could come up with. I have a thug like persona(neutral) but I'm a power wrestler my finishers are: The E.N.D.(Elevated Neck Driver)=Kryptonite Krunch or Back to Belly Leg Piledriver "P.G. Lockdown"=Reclining Hammerlock with neckwrench Think they're good enough or got better ideas?

Your friend. Alright. Firstly, I'm not sure if the Half Nelson is into the Rock Bottom. If so, then I'd call it Enumerated Reckoning. As for the Stunner, leave it as is. Sorry, but EVERYONE will still call it Stunner. Shit, I still do, even though it might be called something different by another wrestler (Gilbertti). As for the Frog Splash make it Sum Total. Not that created really.

Playing off my last name, I had the Hardaway Down ('99-Bossman Slam, '01-Double Underhook Rock Bottom, and '02-Double Underhook Rock Bottom to a Faceplant) and the HarDriver-sit out piledriver.
