SWF Smarkdown

July 21, 2003

Live from the sold-out Staples Center in Los Angeles, California!

Matches are due at 6:00 PM Eastern Time

send all materials to: Suicide King

Opening Promo

All we know is, there is TV time scheduled for a promo here. Who is cutting it? Your guess is as good as mine. One way or the other, opening promo is called.

Non-Title Singles Match

Judge William Hearford v. Va'aiga

Judge requested this matchup. It seems that he may have something to prove, and what better way than taking the Maori Badass to the woodshed?

Rules: Standard singles match, DQ & Countout in effect

Word Limit: 4500

Send to: realitycheck

Falls Count Anywhere Match for the #1 Contendership to the SWF Hardcore-Gamers Title

Dace Night v. WildChild

Wildchild missed a chance to become the new U.S. Champion on Lockdown, but someone sees a bright future for this high flyer. Tonght he gets a chance at the master of "horrorcore". The winner gets a shot at the HCG Title.

Rules: No rules.

Word Limit: 4500

Send to: chirs3

Singles Match

Frost v. "The Sacred One" Andrew Blackwell

One is a legend from way back, a Hall of Famer that has won every title in the SWF. The other is an up and coming superstar, a possible legend in the making. Tonight, they clash for the very first time!

Rules: Standard singles match

Word Limit: 5000

Send to: chirs3

Tag Match for the #1 Contendership to the SWF Tag Team Titles

The Turner Empire ("TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson & The Boston Strangler) v. International Incident (CIA & Mak Francis)

Two fairly new teams have formed recently, and what better way to test their teamwork and competitive fire than throwing them against each other with a shot at the Tag Titles on the line?

Rules: Standard Tag Match, don't forget the tag ropes.

Word Limit: 5500

Send to: Grand Slam

??? Match

??? v. ???

Again, there is time scheduled for a match here, but no one seems to have the first clue who is wrestling. The hell?

Rules: ...

Word Limit: 5000

Send to: realitycheck

P.S.: Those of you involved in this match, and you know who you are, please get the details to Z as soon as possible. Z, if they don't get with you soon, talk to me.

Singles Match for the SWF U.S.Title

Micheal Craven © v. Ejiro Fasaki

Ejiro has proven over and over that he is one of the best in the business today, but his utter lack of singles gold is embarrassing to the Mag 7. Hearing this, the ever-ready-for-a-challenge U.S. Champ Craven offered the Rule a title shot. The winners? All of us.

Rules: Standard singles match

Word Limit: 5500

Send to: Suicide King

Gauntlet Match for the #1 Contendership to the SWF ICTV Title

In order of appearance:

Beezel v. Sean Atlas v. Nathaniel Kibagami v. Stryke

The competition in the ICTV division has never been stronger, and it is hard for one breakout champion to emerge from the chaos. Here is their chance. The survivor of this match is guaranteed a shot at the ICTV champion.

Rules: Beezel and Atlas start the match. After one of them is eliminated, Kibagami enters the match. After one of them is eliminated, Stryke enters the match. The #1 Contender is the winner of the last fall. Standard singles rules apply and you can be eliminated by DQ and count-out.

Word Limit: 6500

Send to: Edwin MacPhisto

Singles Match for the #1 Contendership to the SWF World Heavyweight Title

"The Superior One" Tom Flesher v. Jay Dawg

These two put on some hellacious matches while Tom was champ. But Tom isn't the champ anymore. Now, these two superstars will do battle to determine which one of them will have the pleasure of facing the World Champion for the biggest belt of them all.

Rules: Standard singles match

Word Limit: 6000

Send to: Suicide King

Fuck it, i'm almost certainly not writing for this one. I've got plans for the future and the ICTV doesn't fit in them.

Besides, it's better that someone who writes more than half the times gets the shot. Not that i had a chance in hell of winning this anyway.

So once again the bookers try to set up Dace vs Va'aiga for the Hardcore Title?

Get lost, it's not happening.

More seriously, looks cool.

From this week's SWrestling Observer:

-It seems that the SWF brass--known in many circles as the Kliq--have it in for young superstars Dace Night and Va'aiga.  The two looked to be poised on the edge of greatness after going over Hearford and Fasaki in a **** match on last week's edition of SWF Storm.  Unfortunately, ever since the bad blood left behind last summer in the wake of quick, unannounced departures by Divefire, Edwin MacPhisto, and Spider Nekura, the bookers have had it in for the British.

Smarks in the know will tell you that the "Maori bad-ass" actually hails from the same country as his tag partner--"Va'aiga" spent many years before his wrestling career working with the Royal Shakespeare Company, gaining a respectable following for his portrayals of Othello and Aaron from Titus Andronicus.

The current plan is to pit the tag champions against each other on the next several television shows as a less-than-subtle hint that they should sever their partnership.  The demise of the Unholy Trinity tag team is expected to come during the re-debut of the Hville Thugg and Xstasy at the Ground Zero Pay-Per-View, where the two Kliq members will unveil their new team called "Men on a Mission."  Alas, poor Dace and Va'aiga: we barely knew ye.

Nothing but a bunch of gossipy hogwash if you ask me...

::...rebooks Ground Zero::
