Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted July 17, 2003 # As of this writing, the first one on one meeting between Goldberg and Triple H will be taking place at Sunday's house show in San Jose, CA. They were originally scheduled to have their first meeting at Saturday's show in Salt Lake City, but WWE pulled the plug on that match a few weeks ago due to Goldberg's arm injury. # To update everyone on Triple H's injury, it appears that he suffered a hematoma on one of his legs. The injury is said to be the result of an RVD Five-Star Frog Splash, where Van Dam's elbow struck HHH's leg on impact. # Kane vs. Rob Van Dam will likely be added to the card for Summer Slam. # Crash Holly, who was recently released by WWE after a dispute with management, is already active on the independent scene. He worked last night in Glen Burnie, MD for Maryland Championship Wrestling, defeating Adam Flash to win the MEWF Cruiserweight Title. (Thanks to PWTorch.com) # here is talk of holding off on the Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle one-on-one match until WrestleMania. If the company does decide to go in this direction, it's expected that Brock Lesnar will be taking on Vince McMahon at Summer Slam. # Chris Benoit is said to be very enthusiastic in the backstage area while preparing for his matches. Although he comes accross as being very restrained on camera, he is always seen giving loud pep talks to those who are involved in his matches. On one occasion, he was seen yelling at The Basham Brothers before a match telling them, "You gotta feel it!" (Thanks to The Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter) Reported by Steve Fox on July 17, 2003 # Sources are reporting that plans to add Mark Jindrak as the fourth member of Evolution have apparently been scrapped. The reason this decision was made is due to Jindrak's failure to connect with the crowd during recent house shows. # Jim Ross is expected to be kept off TV for at least two weeks in order to sell the "burning" angle from Monday's RAW. # Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson were married on July 11th in Old Saybrook, CT. Out of approximately 150 guests, the only wrestling personalities who appeared were Victoria, Stacy Keibler, Chris Kanyon, Chris Jericho, Test, Glenn Gilberti (aka Disco Inferno), Jeremy Borash, Dawn Marie, and Simon Diamond. Kidman and Torrie are expected to appear at this weekend's Smackdown tour of Asia before taking a week off to celebrate their honeymoon. # The Rock is scheduled to appear at Monday's RAW in Los Angeles, and again the following week in Vencouver, B.C. The Rock is currently filming "Walking Tall" just outside of Vancouver, so the appearance fits in well with his schedule. Rock claimed in a recent radio interview that he would not be appearing at Summer Slam, but would be returning to WWE from January through WrestleMania XX. Guest D'Lo White Report post Posted July 17, 2003 How many people is it now that have been rumored to face Vince at Summerslam. I know Foley and Gowan were. It seems like the WWE main concern for Summerslam is who will Vince fight. How about no one?

If the company does decide to go in this direction, it's expected that Brock Lesnar will be taking on Vince McMahon at Summer Slam. Haha, Brock vs. McMahon at SummerSlam. Good one! # Chris Benoit is said to be very enthusiastic in the backstage area while preparing for his matches. Although he comes accross as being very restrained on camera, he is always seen giving loud pep talks to those who are involved in his matches. On one occasion, he was seen yelling at The Basham Brothers before a match telling them, "You gotta feel it!" THat's good. But wouldn't you be scared out of your mind if you are a young up and comer (the Bashums) and someone like Benoit is yelling at you that you gotta feel it? # Sources are reporting that plans to add Mark Jindrak as the fourth member of Evolution have apparently been scrapped. The reason this decision was made is due to Jindrak's failure to connect with the crowd during recent house shows. Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted July 17, 2003 Brock Lesnar vs Vinnie Mac? That can't be true. It has to be a typo, an error, a false rumor or something. If that actually happens for Summerslam it will prove beyond a shadow of a dobut that Vince has the biggest ego in the history of anything that's ever existed. I'm still feeling conflicted about this house show, now that Goldberg is gone and Nash is taking his place. At least Goldberg can move quickly... Oh my. That's not good. And it leaves Angle with nothing to do. If Lesnar/Vince happens at SummerSlam, that means: A) Lesnar/Vince for the title on the 2nd biggest PPV of the year B) No title match at the second biggest PPV of the year C) The Big Show wins at Vengance and defends at SS, or D) Angle wins at Vengance and defends at SS, holding the belt till Mania I don't think even Vince would do anything other than D...
